Hello, I moved my bitcoin account to electrum and part of my balance shows "unmatured".. The total balance shows perfectly fine on blockchain.info.
What's going on?

Did you sweep your address into Electrum?

If so, it is normal. The sweeping step requires the funds to be sent from your original address to an address in Electrum. A transaction will be created and just like any other transactions, it will require a confirmation before the client recognises it as usable.

You wallet might be connected to a node that has a blockchain that's not fully synced. Try double clicking the green orb at the bottom right of your wallet's GUI, then deselecting the checkbox for automatically selecting a server to connect to. After that you can manually select a server from the list that appears and check if your wallet shows your transaction as confirmed.

After a couple of restarts, the balance has now only a small portion of it as 'unmatured'.
Maybe it just needs some time to sync.

Did your imported address have a lot of transactions made to it in the past? I know it can take a long time to sync a wallet with hundreds of imported addresses. Maybe the same applies to an address associated with a lot of transactions.

If you double click the green orb and look at the top of the window that opens it should tell you what block height your wallet's synced to.

First and foremost stay away from ath. Secondly this is one of those things in this type of wallet it's going to have to let resolve a little bit, another words you're going to have to wait. There's some things happening with eth that always create issues there's things happening with EDC that always create issues the only way that you can really get through them it's just wait see what happens and hope for the best.

You can try actually looking at the tx's and minning them yourself which sometimes works but in the end is he those who really care since it's worthless.

What is ath? Do you mean eth=ethereum? And how is this related to electrum?

Can you please explain what you mean? How can you specifically mine a transaction?

Don't bother with anything either of those two users wrote... My guess is they are either sig spamming... or very confused and didn't read the OP correctly.

One seems to be talking about ETH (and possibly ETC)... perhaps confusing Ethereum and Electrum, when you said you "moved your bitcoin account to Electrum" and believing you had converted your BTC to ETH/ETC Huh The other is just talking rubbish... These days, you cannot realistically mine your own BTC transactions... not unless you happen to own a massive mining pool/farm Tongue

Did you manage to get your balance all sorted? And is that error "unmatured" from an English version of Electrum or are you translating that from another language? I ask because I've only seen "unconfirmed" and "unverified"
