Dear Community,

I am an Economist and Political Scientist, specialized in International Political Economy.  I have been fascinated with cryptocurrencies and the Blockchain technology since the early years of their inception. I am disappointed however, that the academic community is kinda slow in embracing crypto as a topic worth researching in depth. Even if they do, their research is conducted and published by ‘selected few.’
On the other hand, Think Tanks / Research Centers exist in various countries around the world. Sadly, their research is focused mainly on policy issues.

I would like to address the aforementioned issues and establish a new Blockchain Finance Think Tank, which will store, study and evaluate cryptocurrency white papers. It will also act as an incubator for new cryptocurrencies, by providing assistance during the drafting and development phases. The Think Tank community will have access to the ongoing research and development projects and will be encouraged to offer its valuable input. The organization will be a place for bright crypto researchers and entrepreneurs to freely connect and benefit from each other’s knowledge and expertise.

Cannot wait to read your thoughts on this project and of course your ideas.

In my humble opinion the united nations should become a decentralized DUN, I know right, every thing should be decentralized specially the distribution of wealth worldwide, we're still living in the era of kings and queens and that must stop, we need to revolt against all the governments and make their under wears their flag, tyranny has ruled us for too long already, there should not be any toleration for princes and princesses, decentralized banking(Bitcoin/crypto currencies) are just the starting point.
Moreover, all the military forces of all the countries must be united and create one single powerful army that eliminates any global threat and disobedience wherever it happens.
Further more, all the projects, constructions, building, medicine, factories and generally and eventually all the things happening by governments specially budgeting of everything should pass through a proper and true consensus voting system provided by the algorithms in crypto currencies.
On topic now lol.
We'll need a domain name of .org and an account for fund raising for the development of this project, we'll need a few experts to draft some templates as for creating white papers, IMO only having the ability to create a token on some platforms is not merely enough we need to establish a few rules for every body to follow before they could ever list a token specially ICO tokens in exchanges and there should be sanctions by the community on any exchanging platform neglecting to enforce such rules, decentralized alright but we all know without order and a hand to enforce and maintain this order there will be chaos just like now.

Hey digaran! Thank you for your kind reply. You have made some interesting points. I have already registered an 'ecosystem' of 'killer' .org domains to serve that purpose. As for the establishment of rules that need to be followed, I find your idea very interesting. The organisation can also be responsible in overseeing their implementation. It is time to put some order in the chaos you described.

It first time I hear term Think tank. Could you drop some links to them?
It would be interesting to read scientific/academia research on block chains, cryptocurrencies,  DOA, security, performance etc if it freely available.
I will watch this topic and contribute if I'll be able to do so

Hey Chiller! Here is the definition of a Think Tank: "a body of experts providing advice and ideas on specific political or economic problems." I am planning to redefine the term however, by providing a platform to openly share, analyse and develop cryptocurrency ideas. In the long term, we will be able to offer Accreditation services, to the cryptocurrencies and cryptoprojects which will meet the quality standards that we will define. During the process, I think it is imperative to create a platform which will gather the most influential white papers at one place and encourage their study. I will be announcing the name of this organisation soon!

Dear Community,

I am writing to inform you that the domain BlockchainEmbassy.org has been registered to serve as the gateway to the Think Tank. I am at the early stages of the website development, so any help from volunteers will be much appreciated. The goal is to have a website up and running the soonest possible, and then start uploading and cataloging Blockchain white papers, creating a single concrete and constantly updated online database. At the same time, a call for papers will be made. In this call, we will seek original and high quality research papers, concerning the establishment of industry wide standards in the process from drafting a white paper to a possible ICO. It would be interesting to see what the community’s take on that matter is. These papers will form the basis of the standards, based on which the BlockchainEmbassy will be able to evaluate and/or accredit future currencies.

Interesting, It is a good idea to make a database of the blockchain research and white papers, I am very interested in blockchain issue especially on the international and political issue but it is hard for me to find some papers or research about it from scientist or academics. So this project can really help students like me to find some information about blockchain technology and its research which is very limited. I'm waiting for the site, good luck and all the best.
