On installing Electrum I was asked to choose a Server.  The box had a tab called Server which gave a choice of:
SSL
TCP
HPPT
HPPTS

Not knowing what it all means I simply used SSL which is what the box originally showed unless changed.  But what are they.
1. Can somebody briefly explain what these choices are. ie what's an SSL or TCP .....

2. Is SSL a suitable choice to use.

Thanks to anyone that can throw some light on this for me.

SSL means Secure Socket Layer, and is used to encrypt information sent over the internet. Yes, it is a suitable choice to use.
