Good day,

I'd like some information with respect to these adapter cards. They are powered via Molex. Does that mean they require 5v supply? And would it matter if the supply does not come from the same power supply as the one powering the riser and GPU. My GPU and risers are powered off a Server PSU
(strictly 12v).

I don't plug my M.2 NGFF to PCI-E X4 Adapter Card to anything. don't need any power.
