It's hilarious how 99% of the recommendations are for shit coins with nothing going for them except pump and dump. This *might* be ok you're a trader looking for a quick buck but it's horrid advice for long term investments.

For this you should look at what the altcoin is bringing to the table, what problem does it solve?

I would argue that Monero is a solid candidate. It's the only fungible cryptocurrency giving you actual privacy. This is a very real problem no other coins solve satisfactory.

I think litecoin and ethereum are the right choice for long-term investments, they are altcoins with good and promising investors, if you do not have the ability to trade, you can use litecoin and ethereum as an option for your long-term investment.

Lite coin and Ethereum might be a good choice for long term but one thing is certain is that you could make a bigger profit if you could invest in bitcoin for a long time,as per the speculation it could triple or more in valuation in the coming years and i am sure no other coin will be near the value of bitcoin by a very large margin.

I think the reason being is that:

split your money into many parts and invest in shitcoin. I can ensure that if you are lucky, you can x1000 your capital in 1 week, no need a few years in this case. Shitcoins are usually pumped by whales for profit and if you can follow the mainstream, you can get some source of profit from their activities

I just wonder why you want to buy alt and keep them for years?yeah its not possible that if you buy today price may reach 100x time after lots of years since that happen to btc but know one know what coin would particularly. why not just study rules and techniques to be a successful trader. There are a few coins that are likely to last for years though. Just hard to dig them up. AiCoin is one of them based on their concept and they already have a running product and have been in their business for years. Also one of those coins that gets better the longer it runs, simply because that's how Machine Learning algorithms work.
