Yes.  It was decided that lowering the price in BTC would be unfair to those members that paid it in the past.

After all, this is a bitcoin forum, not a USD forum.

At that time the value of Bitcoin is very low compared today that's why it's not that heavy to donate something like that but as the time goes by it increased multiple folds hence the admin thought of adjusting it but in the end they don't since it would be unfair to those who donated even in their time it doesn't worth that much.

Yeah, the donator status was basically for the OGs who were here in the beginning.   I highly doubt anyone is donating anything nowadays--nor should they.  I suspect it would be money not-so-well spent, and the reward would be absolutely nothing anyway.   Isn't there some sort of private section for donors, where they can chat unmolested by shitposters?   That sure would be nice, but it's not worth even 1BTC.  To me, anyway.

Lol. It's pretty much dead though. I've suggested more donator ranks and access to another hidden board as a perk. I think it could be a good idea to remove signatures and maybe post count in there so it would be a safeheaven from sig spam and shitposting farmers.
