Looks like Amazon is launching its own "digital currency".  I really with they would have adopted BTC but that's ok.  We still have a long road until BTC is mainstream.   Wink

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Amazon Coins are not really a crypto currency, they are more like standard amazon vouchers, as they are centrally controlled by amazon.  Not a crypto currency by any definition.
