Qualcomm VS Mediatek WAR WAR

We Already know that in the phone market qualcomm cpus are better than other but the price and the position of the company let me think in alternatives and mediatek can be a good one diversity is a key in economy so i hope new releases can bring equilibrium to a market at correct price. Ofcourse I had phones with both of these companies inside so I you ask me Im fan of both but i want more of small player wich in this case is Mediatek. What do you think about it?

See it's always nice to support diversity in the market and all that, giving some work to the little guy makes some people feel special. But when it comes down to it, the people with the better product (in this case Qualcomm) is going to be the person that gets all the work from people that are strictly business.

I highly doubt mediatek and qualcomm can even come out and compare against eachother due to the amount of sales qualcomm has compared to mediatek.

I'm not techie about chipset's etc but in my opinion Qualcomm is premium brand and Mediatek had no match over it. Qualcomm dominated major brands like Samsung, LG, Sony's flagship products, meanwhile Mediatek are mass produces its name via midrange and low range devices which made them popular in IT world.

Sure I no doubt about premium experience of qualcomm chipset and gpl compilance support with all major Brands but now Sony, Nokia, Motorola, even huawei and xiaomi mount mediatek chipstet. A few years ago mediatek was only used to cheap and bad copy phones but now soon with the release of x30 for example MTK did a great job using a Lastgen Powervr gpu more newer than the used by apple with the iphone 7. Not bad for a cheap high end chipset.
