These are modded for 6 pin pcie power for use with 12vdc server psu breakout boards, and 8 pin cpu motherboard connector. Using 16ga wire from the 6 pin pcie to 8 pi cpu so cpu mining with it will be no issue. OC to your hearts content! All splices are made with soldered uninsulated butt splice (NOT CRIMPED). They come standard with 1x 4 pin cpu connector, 1x sata, and 1x 4 pin molex. Mods done in USA. Will be adding another 4 pin molex in future for new motherboards that need it. Am looking for $27 each plus shipping and escrow. Escrow through philipma1957 if needed. Thanks

Bitcoin addy is 1A8nbsToSzby1KMziV56kpsaRnB9xr3F7V. If someone asks to send to a different addy DO NOT SEND! They are scamming you!

Just done this kind of mod to my 160w pico. 6pin male to 8pin EPS (not pcie) for mobo with a pigtail for power the pico. All off a single 6pin pcie from my server psu breakout board. Only 7inches long so nice and compact for my small rig.

They sure make things nice don't they? Of course am using EPS connector for cpu. I can shorten up the power leads if people want them shorter. I need them long for my cases though.

flminer sent one to be reviewed by me.

Of course with shifting and rearranging gear.  I do not have enough pcie cables to do a proper review.

I ordered a set of cables from side hack and will be reviewing this in a few days.

I do have enough parts to run a mobo with no gpus  and will photo it shortly

running a mobo
the 8 pin cpu is plugged in
the 24 pin mobo is plugged in
a hdd is plugged in

better shot of hdd

better shot of 24 pin and the branch off to the hdd

close up of breakout board
the pico is on the right
the long pcie cable is on the left---- it is not in use

the pcie cable not in use

I ran this z270 mobo with 24gb ram and a 1tb laptop hdd
I synched a empty core wallet

this pico is nicely modded.

I have 2 pico's on hand
I have 1 psu on hand
I have 1 breakout board on hand.
I have pcie cables on order from sidekick
I have a breakout board on order from holybitcoins.
I will be ordering a new psu from sidehack if he has a blue plug plat one.

not sure if flminer is doing cables or psu's or breakout boards.

But his picos are my favorite design so far.

I will be doing some other things  with his pico's very soon just need to be sure it works.  before I show them here.

Glad ya like it brother! Am working on a breakout board design with external panel mount switch and a reset switch for the motherboard (both will be mounted on a bracket). As far as 6 + 2 cables, am still debating if I want to get involved in that (very time consuming).

My second order arrived today - thank you for the quick shipping! The picos from the first order (about a month and a half ago) were installed immediately and have ran perfectly without any problems.

I look forward to ordering some 6+2 cables when you have some ready.

Thanks again!
