Just have some patience and wait as we could see the bitcoin price recovering quickly.After segwit,it may rise very high and you would have to regret at that time if you sell it now.So just wait and watch.All the dust have started to settle down much earlier before the segwit activation.

He can surely sell his bitcoin anytime he wanted, but I think it is best to just take a small amount if he really need money because surely the price is still good and recovered from the dump of fearful users, and just like you said if this event was started the price will totally leap up high but the question here, if the coin splits what price does your native wallet could be supporting or can it be really for this kind of event, we can really see after August 1 occur.

Because I'm planning of holding bitcoin for long term, but it there are emergency along the way then I have no choice really but to sell a portion for my used. Right, you say. A lot of people made bitcoin God. Pray and fast, but saving your coins for the future. Indeed, I do believe that panic selling will never have a good effect on your transaction. Anyway, based on my opinion it is better to sell your bitcoin of course if it is on high price so that you will get a higher amount. However, if it is not necessary then just hold it for a long time.

But that is one of the prediction other 1 is it is splitted and I think the price is also splitted and I hope that it will not. Lets hope that the pricr gets higher. Thought try to hold it some months more there will be a big pumps of coin .

i think when we are make analyze, we should know what is our target to sell like you said because if we don't know what is the price, then we can not sell and take the profit. its not good if we are going to be a greedy person because we need to survive in trading and make some profit for future. so i think if we only can make small profit then its no problem because in other time, we can make big profit if there is a pump for the coin.

If that's the case about August 1st, I guess we should stop selling our bitcoins now and store it on our designated wallets or convert to other type od tokens like ethereum. Actually we need not to be so worried about that date, because speculation were really viral just for that date and I don't know why investors were very shaking of their feet about it. Mainly that affects also the entire crypto currency market, their coins also drop of it's price value particularly on trading.
