Creating a simple token is very easy indeed.
But you're missing something - selling the tokens isn't.
Why would people buy your token?

It ain't so easy lol. you need a full concept and something interesting, Why should someone consider buying your tokens?

yes its a bit easy to create a token but no one would prefer purchasing your token without any benefit. You can also launch a coin on yobit i guess but you would require some investment there.

Ok but if I have a good idea and some basic c++ coding skills then I can create something worth potentially billions?Im sorry but it still seems disproportionately easy to me.

Bolden word is kinda key here as well.
Potentially even Elvis's poop was worth millions at some point in time... heck its would probably be to this point.
Luckily, he never gathered it  as far as we know.
Look at the current alts market, it is saturated with various tokens, coins and assets of unknown origin.
Only few are relatively successful compared to bitcoin, you will need to work hard on multiple levels (PR, marketing, tech support, design, development)  to make a good and interesting project and there is one more factor here, it is luck, good fortune, positive karma, what ever you wanna call it.

Yes, it is that easy if you know what you're doing. Even if you don't know what you're doing, you can use the token creation service for Minereum - I believe there's a few other options as well.

As the others have mentioned, the trick is to actually make something useful that people will want to buy/invest in. That being said, good luck with your token!

It is very easy to create an alt coin and t doesnt need too many capital to create one, but it will need hardwork and trust to make a successful coin and by creating a new alt coin with same speciality is the same with creating shitcoin, so it is easy to create a coin but it is very hard to make that coin become valuable

This is a double edge sword because, on the one hand, you want to encourage innovation and the free market to come up with more coins and better solutions and on the other, so many new coins and tokens are scams, each one more ingenious than the next which causes the level of confidence in crypto currencies and icos to fall.  But if you're willing to learn how to create your own cryptocurrency (or willing to put the time and investment needed), then go for it and dont scam people!

I agree, you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Creating a coin is easy and because of its simplicity many people have created coins which are mostly just scams. I encourage you to be true and honest. Let your coins flourish for the better.

Everyone with zero knowledge can create a token in waves platform. For ethereum, a little knowledge is required to create a token, but the marketing and further development is the main difficulty.

woah! Anyone can create a coin but not everyone can give value to it. Bitcoin without value is just a scam. Don't be one of them. But if it is through campaign it is possible and I think would be helpful.

You need to review First Every Crypto .
