I think made a mistake. I've read an article saying that bitcoin will be modified and there would be a new bitcoin that will rise. And some bitcoins would not be accepted in some cases. But if he did that a long time ago then he would become a multi billionaire by now.

if this is really happen then many people will disappointed and they will move into the new bitcoin and play with it. we don't know if there is a new bitcoin will born or not because the one thing that we know is bitcoin is still a leader among the other and if rothschild bought $210,000 worth of bitcon, then he can do with easy because he is rich than we know. and if a new bitcoin is rise, then he can buy again with his money and i think he don't think too much as long as he can make a profit.

I wouldn't doubt if he bought some bitcoin, but serious why $210,000 worth. You know he is worth a trillion dollars could he not just buy an exchange or something.
Because it is growing and people are taking interesting by this people are willing if you ever buy bitcoin right now after the worth of your coins will go more when you will sell your bitcoin after sometime your $210,000 might be $820,000 and it is granted I hope you get about it and now you should be interest to invest because that's all from me.

Well how about that!

Old money investing into new money (BTC)

I never thought I would see this day in my life. Grin

Hahahaha nice comment! I think this is not their first investment in bitcoin but they would be doing this secretly by not letting others know. If those big players come into the party, we can move to jupiter, not moon.

I am not sure if this news is confirmed or not but I think people's opinion of looking towards Bitcoin is changing in a positive way and as soon as some governments are recognising Bitcoin, more and more people are coming forward to invest in Bitcoin. I am sure some millionaires must have invested in Bitcoins because they have practically nothing to lose.

* Rothschild Just Bought $210,000 Worth Of Bitcoin.

What do you think about this news and overall people's perception about Bitcoin?

I don't know why they decided to buy into a bitcoin trust instead of the actual bitcoin. I mean bitcoin is something that can be held very easily and it just makes no sense to me why they just absolutely wanted to go through a centralized way of investing instead of having everything decentralized, and holding the real thing iself. It's like buying paper silver instead of buying physical silver. It completely defeats the purpose of the investment in the first place.

Overall? I don't think it'll make much of a difference, frankly. Doubters are still going to doubt and haters are still going to hate. Plus it is probably just something that is purely experimental, nothing serious. You have to understand when you have trillions in assets 200k is spare change...

I would bet he will be shorting quite soon. If some of the shark invest is because of wanting to have a control, not because he believes in something. All of those people believe is power. So I would be hardly surprised if those investments were not to gain the ability to manipulate the market.

It doesnt surprise me at all, to be honest i do believe a lot more companies and rich people has already invested at bitcoin, since they can grow their capital without a lot effort, just by saving bitcoin. I do wonder how many people has invested at bitcoin and without any information about it, since its not legalized in the most countries yet.

Probably looking to profit from the BTC/BCC split eh?
If they are planning to make the maximum amount of profit with the split and so be it,but i am seeing this news going the rounds in the internet but i could not find any authentic media publishing this news and for that i consider it as a rumor, the possibility is that some of the news outlet which i saw while doing a simple search might have copied the news from the original source.

With just $210k ? Cheesy Cheesy
I know this news from some days ago and honestly, I was laughing to see one of the richest family investing only $210k in bitcoin. It made me wonder if it was a real news or a satirical one. Or maybe they think this $210k will be 3-4 millions $ in a fews months? In this case then I hope they are right  Grin

I doubt about this news validity. $210,000 is peanut and how much more when it comes to a Rothschild. It is known that Rothchilds are owning/controlling most of the central banks in the world. So they will try to kill decentralized bitcoin and altcoins  which is very opposite to their well established system.

Def, not the real Rothschild firm. IMO. Otherwise, they would most likely add a few zeroes to that.  There are many firms with similar names tho due to similar surnames and even just firms trying to trick the public and I am pretty sure it was just one of those.

There is no correlation between the bitcoin fork that is going to happen and the corporate interest behind the ideologies,we just need the upgrade so that the block chain could accommodate more transaction and it is crucial for the growth of bitcoin ,there are more investors who have invested more into bitcoin than the said amount and so it is not a big surprise.
