usually i don't take too long to getting profit because when i see the coin is starting to up in 25%, i am selling few amount and then i will select another coin. but this time, when all coin is in red zone, i think i will hold it for a long time because some of my coins is not moving up and stay at the bottom. so its better to stop trading and watch the movement of every coins and if there are any movement to go up, i will sell again but not for all amount.

There are actually altcoin for long term investment it will be still depends in your own strategy and what altcoin you want to invest because there are altcoin that has fast movement of the price pump and dump.. You should focus always when every time the price is going down make sure to buy it because sooner or few weeks or months the price can be increase and make profit. those are for long term investment..
For basic trading you can stay in bitcoin since the movement of the price of bitcoin is fast and you can either choose long term or short term investment..
If you are newbie you can learn trading first and i think 1 week is enough before you can gain a good profit not guaranteed it will be still depends in your own method and strategy and how you manage any margin you set. .

I was the passive trader like I bought bitcoin and was holding for months after that I sold out and got decent profits. Any one can make profitable trading if they plan up accordingly. I started my trading career with the bitcoin, only because of bitcoin I was able to manage to do a profitable first trading.

Planning up must be the key to quicken the process of profitable trading. If you get into directly altcoin trading then only your luck will decide how quick you will get profits. But this and all only for a learning trader. If you have strong skills in technical analysis then you can make profits from your first day of trading too.

You are right buying with low value and selling with high value is the correct way of trading. But why not using bitcoin rather than altcoins? altcoin has no future whereas bitcoin has the most shining future of all currencies. I believe earlier 2017 the first bitcoin I buy from my salary, only 0,05 just for alternative payment from on line store. Until now, I still try to make profit with bitcoin and unfortunately not going work. Patience is my problem but I'll face it because I believe there's profit from crypto trading. My target is only 10% from my bitcoin but hard work is needed and sometimes I lose. Time is also needed to develop my skill and that's the another risk. Keep patience with time and good luck.

In most cases people are interested in altcoins just because of the fact that their tiny markets can experience more short term increases than is the case with Bitcoin. It's all based on greed. I still see noobs point out that Bitcoin is severely lacking behind due to altcoins offering all sorts of flashy features, etc. They however don't realize, or on purposely don't want to realize, that the features altcoins offer are pure gimmicks - they barely enjoy real word usage. Altcoin features in most cases are tricks to keep people interested in something that basically serves no real purpose other than the speculative aspect.

Your statement is some kind of good informative but I would suggest you 2 methods in which you will have more powerful grip on your coins. First of all keep a lot of coins in your offline wallet which is quite amazing and 100% safe. Another step I would say that invest a lot of money into bitcoin if you are willing to get a lot of money in their future.
