Hi guys. What should i normally set my Send threshhold to? Can i set it to 0.1 and have it send over BCs whenever it hits 0.1? Does it incur charges everytime it sends over coins?

I assume you are asking about some sort of mining pool?  Which pool?

The pool you are a part of will probably tell you what the limits are (both min and max).
You don't want it set it too low... I'm guessing there is a transaction fee every time you withdraw coins.
When you know what that fee is, it will help you get a better idea of what to set that withdraw to.
If the fee is, say, 0.05 BTC, setting as threshold of 0.1 BTC would be silly... you'd be giving up half of your BTC in simple withdrawl fees!  I'd aim to keep a minimum least 90-95% of what you earn.  If you want to keep 95%, you need to withdraw once you hit 1 BTC.

In effect from 01.11.2012, pool increases the lower limit for payouts ("send threshold") to 0.05 BTC (around $0.6) as a protection against high transaction fees for tiny payouts.

I don't believe there are any for sending your reward (that's why there's a minimum). The transaction fees on the block are shared between miners along with the 25 block reward.

so i could theoratically set my send threshold to 0.1 as well yea, and it would send every 0.1 bitcoins without any extra penalty?

how about selling bitcoins, can you sell less than 1 bitcoin on mtgox? like 0.5?

When mining, your earnings are sent to your wallet when they reach the 'threshold/limit' that you have chosen (normally you would base this on your earning speed).

Hope you've learned something Smiley
