I really love EtherDelta and I'm wondering why not more people are using it.

My guess is that it can be a little intimidating. But it's really nice.

I'm tired of the standard centralized exchanges and their games!

I've never heard of that exchange ? (seems like an ad to me lol).
Anyway, these exchanges are centralized since they deal with real fiat money which is regulated by governments.

Actually I won't trust an exchange that's not legally registered. I don't know why but that's just what I feel is right.
If you can explain why the one you specified is better than the popular ones now, it'd be great.

I like the idea of descentralized exchanges to trade between ETH and Ethereum Tokens, or even between different blockchains if possible (as I read Waves is introducing an Ethereum trading gateway).
I also like the Bancor Protocol that introduces smart tokens with reserves of other tokens so you can trade directly from the smart contract.
But for now as ahmedjamal mentioned you still need centralized exchanges to trad fiat for crypto (unless you already have so much invested in crypto that you won't need to use more fiat  Smiley )

You should check the site, they said it's safe to trade in decentralized exchange and it's cheaper.
Actually I trade their my tokens with ETH and it went smooth and was able to cash out my money from MEW to bittrex then to my local exchange wallet.

I invested in OpenANX, it is like a decentralized exchange but with the liquidity of a centralized exchange, they are going to have a prototype this year  Cheesy

I hope it will be better than poloniex

I think decentralized exchanges has many advantages over centralized exchange in the safety and data analysis. But the interface is not so friendly for some traditional users in my opinion.

It is matter of choice. Centralized and decentralized  has pros and cons. You need to decide what is important for you, user friendliness or security. If you are a securitypath then you may go decentralized..

For now I am using Kraken and Bittrex. In the future I will use the NVO exchange (https://nvo.io/) for all my trades and only use Kraken to convert to fiat.
I have high hopes for NVO.

I have never heard of Etherdelta before though.

anybody have a full list of all decentralized exchanges?

BitShares
OpenLedger
CounterParty DEX
OMNI DEX
Waves
EtherDelta
NVO
BitSquare
Blocknet

------------ not launched:
Plutus
EtherEx
OpenANX

what else?  as i understand, most of these are very small, and most are limited in what can trade on them.
