MSI Z170A GAMING M5 - don't see PCIe x1

I have MSI Z170A Gaming M5 Mobo and 5 GPU ASUS STRIX 1070.
I tried to connect them, but can't detect more than 4. I figured out that all PCIe x16 ports working well, and 1 of PCIe x1 works fine as well. But other 3 PCIe x1 not working at all. Windows just don't see any GPU from these three PCIe x1 (please have a look at the picture http://take.ms/vI7jx).

I'm using these settings:
- Bios Version 1.7;
- PEG 0 and PEG 1 = Gen1;
- Above 4G Decoding = Enabled;
- Windows 8.1 / 10 = Enabled;
- UEFI only
- IGD with 64 memory

Can anyone help, please? Maybe I have to try another model of power risers? Currently, I'm using SATA 15pin Male to 4pin power cables http://take.ms/SPr0S

I have same board with 7 1070s. Based upon what you have identified it sounds like you have dead PCIE ports.

Before blaming the motherboard I would definitely try different risers, risers caused me all types of bullsh*t so I wouldn't exclude them easily. Also, did you try to plug only one GPU to the PCIe you suspect isn't working and see if windows detects it ?

I have had nothing but problems with the MSI boards and will no longer buy any. I would return that board saying the ports are bad and buy something better.

I don't know what the reason was, but I've managed to get all PCIe working.
What I've done:
-Install latest BIOS 7977v1E (I think that's the main thing);

You're welcome man , Yes updating to the latest bios is always a good idea especially with a motherboard released last year, i'm so glad that worked for you.
