Was a copy of btc-e.

If you are login in on a website always look at HTTPS and double check the url.

The link goes to a fake site that looks like BTC-e.com, when you go to login it steals your username/password.

How to protect yourself? simple, when you are going to log into btc-e.com, type the address in the address bar yourself & make sure your using https. Be wary of any links sent to you full-stop, this applies everywhere online not just in the BTC world.

Well I use web of trust and siteadvisor
Siteadvisor said the URL was suspicious so I closed the window when it gave me the window and made a btc-e account from the official site lol
Then noticed later it was a scam lol so now I use btc-e rofl
But I'm not sure what the scam page looks like myself as I was blocked on the first click, so would recommend a url checker like
Web of Trust or Siteadvisor and some good antivirus software and malwarebytes if it goes past that stage
Think it's a keygen no virus reports so it's the page that is a trap

What do u mean fullstop?
This would have had all of my scammer alarms going off, I would have known something was up because I never win anything. And it just sounds like a scheme..

He says he was hacked. Which is bs as he was still trying to scam people by PM at the same time.

Its price is not a very relevant factor in its adoption....

Well considering it had half the forum participating it makes people fall for a sense of fallacy and some air of legitness of course my defenses helped to protect me but got to be careful, even with popular forum threads

So, what actually happened? The anyroll thread was locked, but his account is still active with no scammer tag. Is the jury still out?
