What is first Altcoin you heard and what your reaction??

My first time that i heard about it is last year too...  My friends encourage me about that then i join then then after i research about this,  i use my knowledge to do things like posting..  Btc is a virtual currency for many people...

My brother bought bitcoins a few ago and told me all about it
but I couldnt understand what he was telling me, it just didnt make sense.

so after I got into it earlier this year the first altcoins I heard of
were Litecoin and Dash!

The first coin I ever heard of was Darkcoin, now known as Dash. I was sooo broke at the time, I really wanted to buy it but didnt have the money. That was 2015...

PS:I am still broke, i still dont own any Dash.lol

I came to know about bitcoin 3 years back and i was really excited about it. I did a research and studied about it. It was then i came to know that bitcoin is not the only cryptocurrencies , there are others too. Then i came to know about the altcoin dogecoin and i was " Now whats that" and should i pronounce it as " dog-e-coin" or "doj-coin". Then i did a research about it too and came to know that its a pretty good coin. I still like Dogecoin very much because of its less price and less transaction fee.

First coin I heard about was Litecoin, that was 4 years ago.
I used to have an internet business, it accepted Litecoin payments.
Sadly I sold my Litecoins later when they were about $1,50.
Wish I would have never done that.

First alt coins i heard/used after getting introduced with bitcoin was Litecoin and Dogecoin. Dogecoin sounded funny to me since it was based on a meme and thought it wasn't any serious coin. Litecoin was just a usual cryptocurrency for me .

First I heard of BitCoin a long time ago, don't exactly remember how long, I was much younger and didn't understand it, but still tried to mine it.
I was using a Sempron CPU and 1GB DDR1 RAM, doesn't matter though, as I didn't know how to start mining. Second time I got interested in BTC was when it was at around $300, that was a few years ago. Wish I bought some BTC in those earlier times, now I've invested in Antshares(Neo) and NXT.

I know im little bit late on bitcoin world but when i do first knew about bitcoin i immediately know other altcoins too and this is my first encounter on Dogecoin which i know its almost the same age with bitcoin and later on i see lots of altcoins are popping out from nowwhere butvi understand since cryptocurrency hype had just began

My first heard is about the bitcoin and ethereum..  I heard it to my friends that long time uses this one.. And i think this is a digital currency nowadays.. My reaction??  You won't believe it,  it is like shock then amaze because i don't know that there is a kind of this currency and that is bitcoin..

Bitcoin is not an altcoin it is the main coin an altcoin is an alternative coin to Bitcoin, going back to your question the first altcoin I stumble after Bitcoin was dogecoin because of its popularity and community support, but the only negative or downside is its huge supply .

The first altcoin that i probably heard about was BAT or basic attention token. I had no idea what it was nor what it stands for so i researched about it then eventually, through further research, i came across other Altcoins. It was then i realized that there were so many altcoins that we can choose from.

I think for me, DogeCoin. I only know Bitcoin that time but when other websites offer me Dogecoin to earn, I tried to research that one and it says another cryptocurrency. That was the time I knew that Bitcoin is not the only cryptocurrency that can be used online.

The first altcoin I've heard is Nem or Xem. And at first I do not think of those things and I realized that there is more than bitcoin. I mean, there were more cryptocurrency other than bitcoin. I realized it after I've learned about this alternative cryptocurrency.

Really you already know that there are hundreds of alt coins already? At first I really don't have an idea of what are alt coins, crypto currencies are. The only thing that I know is only bitcoin as it is. I thought that there are no other digital coins the same with bitcoin. But the first altcoin that I knew is Ethereum.

The first time I know is Litecoin and Doge, because in the country market I provide 2 altcoin, I was stopped from crypto currency but I regret because the price is very expensive nowadays 

Regret is always coming last, but I did not give up and try again

For me I come into this space all because of Bitcoin and I saw coinmarketcap.com with list of 100s of other coins but the list of coins I started researching on are Litecoin, Dash, Doge, and Ethereum but out of all these list Ethereum is the biggest wnner, becuase the price was way below $1 per tokens then. A real life changing investment

After my first encounter with Bitcoin, I came to know about other Altcoins such as Ethereum or ETH. It's fairly almost as popular as Bitcoin. Then after some research, I discovered others such as Litecoin and dogecoin. There's a lot more but I only remember these. I stumbled upon these other altcoins because they were starting to become popular, and acclaimed users have been saying that they have advantages which Bitcoin doesn't have. I haven't tried using any of them yet but their growing popularity has started to interest me.

I think the very first alt-coin that I heard was Ethereum.
And my first reaction was a bit curious I am only newbie in crypto at the moment and I thought that bitcoin was the only digital currency.
