First thing's first. This will be a big investment and I will only deal with someone decently trusted on this forum. I will also be looking in to hiring a VERY high rep forum member to mediate this deal to assure this goes well and there is no scam on either end.

That being said I will be assembling a high end alienware laptop on their site and you will be ordering it for me. It will be mailed to the mediator and my coins will also be sent to the mediator. Any high rated forum members willing to mediate this post here please and if anyone has any suggestions please point me in the right direction. I'm not hugely familiar of who would offer this kind of service.

I will pay for shipping all the way... to the mediator and to myself, I will also cover the mediators fee as well.

Currently we are talking about a 4k USD investment. I will be sending you the equal amount in bitcoins AFTER MTGOX is reopened and the price is stabilized somewhat.....

If anyone is interested in such a venture please let me know, also any mediators willing to get involved post or pm Smiley Thanks.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Wouldn't it be enough that mediator holds the BTC and skip the extra recipient for laptop?

It would save tons of money on shipping/insurance.

Here's the cleanest way to do this:

1. Send bitcoins to escrow
2. Have buyer purchase the laptop
3. Receive the laptop
4. Have escrow release funds.

Sorry for not responding, I hit a stupid 10pm/hour limit.

You can PM me your phone # and we could work something out.

Me! Am I "high rep" enough?

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
