How difficult is it to switch from pow/pos hybrid to pure pos?

Hey guys, I am new to cryptocurrency and need your help understanding few things As the title explains, just wanted to know the possible risks and problems of switching from pow/pos hybrid to pure pos? Also if anyone could explaine me the difference between X11,13 and 15 hashing algorithms. Which one of these 3 is better any why?
