That will depends on what can you afford for.
If you using Bitcoin in a trading way you need a good capital on it something like 150$ is a good start in trading.
and also, is it better to invest in bitcoin rather than investing in stocks?
For me is better to invest in Bitcoin because your money is on your hands unlike stocks your money is in the company.

Hey Kabayan. Welcome to the forum.

Based on my experience. I started investing in bitcoin with around $100 or PHP 5000. I bought some when I still have a stable job back then and I try to accumulate it portion by portion. And then I starting to do trading as well with my savings, well sometimes we lost and but most of the time is positive on my end. Signature campaign also help me, because when I decided to quit my job and put up a offline business, my sig campaign earnings what used as a additional cashflow to my offline business. I have a stocks as well, but I haven't touch in for years. I think its much better to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin price is so strong right now and chances are it will continue to the next couple of years. I just caution you to invest what you can afford though, so that you will not just sell them when you don't have money. Just hodl on it and you can reap the rewards in the future. Goodluck!!!

Basically its purely depends on you that with how much money you can start, But I started with 1 bitcoin & bought diff Alt alt coins as well & did trading & continue to increase my Bitcoin & in the present scenario I would suggest you to invest in bitcoin rather than stocks because as per my analysis I am seeing bitcoin more bullish, so if we hold bitcoin it will definately gives you good return & apart from this always invest that much amount that can you afford to loose in online industry, never put you hard earned money & before investing in bitcoin study yourself also on youtube there are numerous videos available on Youtube or you can study this forum to increase your knowledge regarding bitcoin it will certainly help you to took wise decision.

I would suggest an altcoin that can be profitably mined using what you already have. That pretty much means GPU coins or HDD coins nowadays. You can exchange to Bitcoin if that's what you prefer to hold onto.

Once you know your way around, then you can determine what mining hardware to buy to expand your investment. Keep in mind that while ASICs have little or no other uses, GPUs and HDDs are useful for a lot more. In other words, if you invest in GPU or HDD mining and it turns out to be a bust, you'll have a much easier time repurposing or selling the hardware.

I use cryptocurrency and solar power to help my best friend Naomi Wu... And I'm proud of it!

Stocks are very much similar to Bitcoins. holding bitcoins have higher possibility of growth while stocks gives you yearly dividend and bonus.
If you are able to hold as well as earn from bitcoin that would be better.

There is no small or large amount for investment. It depends on how much you can afford (like stocks you should also be ready for complete loss which though have a negligible possibility).

Hi Kabayan!  Grin

You shouldn't think of how much exactly you invest, but rather what percentage of your funds you're going to invest into bitcoins. Before investing yourself, I suggest reading articles and watch videos about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency so you know what you're investing on. Don't invest just because some people invest. Learn about crypto and make your own judgement.

After learning about bitcoin, ask yourself. Do you believe bitcoin will be successful? If yes, how likely? And then think of how much of your total money you should invest. DON'T invest more than you are willing to lose. You wouldn't want to be homeless if ever bitcoin goes to sh*t.

On the amount of money: whatever amount you are comfortable with that does not affect you daily lives even if you lose.

On which investment is better: An investor who invested in Bitcoin 5 years ago would have seen total returns of more than 22,000%, a return you would not see with investment in traditional stocks. However, the risk of investing (volatility) in Bitcoin is much higher. I would suggest doing a lot of readings about cryptocurrency before investing.

Suggest starting with at least $100 USD which allows you to put 40% in bitcoins and 4 to 6 alt coins so that you can achieve diversification on your portfolio. Even with small capita invested diversification is important to reduce your risk. Lots of people on this forum make concentrated bets on one coin, but the idea of crypto investing isn't to gamble away your life savings on the spin of a roulette wheel. The idea is to grow your savings and do so without taking too much risk or losing sleep at night. If you are unable to sleep it means it means you may have invested too much capital and may need to bring it down.

You sound like you may be new to trading so I have included a link to a relevant article from my blogsite  so that you can get educated on how to start trading. https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@maxmonroe/top-10-tips-for-new-crypto-traders. Best of luck to you!

When my friends ask me how much they should invest I tell them that they should invest 1% of their net worth, which is little enough money that it wouldn't hurt them if they'd lose their bitcoins, but enough to see the potential of bitcoin.

Actually it is totally depend on you. But I like at the starting point start with low amount bitcoins and continue trading to increase bitcoins. And don’t depend on one coin. Invest on some good coins too. Then you are in low risk if you lose. When you become the expertise by experience with time you may take wise decisions.

The amount is depend on how much you want to earn and how long you want to earn, usually people investing 100$ - 300$ but the profit is not too big and it is better to invest in bitcoin rather than stock because the bitcoin price go up faster than stock, but bitcoin is a bit unpredictable

By no means commit more than you're prepared to lose.Bitcoin is an extremely high-risk investment and you ought to keep in that under consideration regularly. The most effective i would say, you don't purchase your entire Bitcoins in a single trade but alternatively purchase a preset amount each month, week or even day all through the year.

You should invest/buy bitcoin as much as you can lose. It's a new technology. So, do not sell your house or car to buy bitcoin

You need to invest the money you can't afford to lose pal. If you're working, maybe invest 10% of your total salary in Bitcoin.

If you are just a beginner, I'd say invest as little as 300 USD. Then if there is a return on the investment - define a part of your salary that can be invested monthly. There will most certainly be losses at first, just be prepared for that

If you believe in Bitcoin, then I would pick an amount you are comfortable investing each pay period and buying BTC every time you get paid. If that figure is $20 then buy $20 worth of btc every 1-2 weeks. If $100 is the magic number for you, then stick to that. You can't go wrong just buying BTC and HODLing. It has shown to increase in value on average 0.4% per DAY since it's inception.

If every dollar you invested into crypto turned into $10 you will be rich before you know it.

Hello, you shouldn't invest more than you can afford to lose. That is the basic rule :-)
In additions, please, don't forget cryptocurrencies/tokens/etc is a high risk investments, so as a rule of thumb "do not spend more than 10% of your net worth on it".

Make business plan first, how much capital do you have, how much can you spare? how much knowledge of BTC do you have? The more you know and the more you need to invest it.

The risks are higher than investing in stocks of big companies.  But the return might be also higher. It depends on your appetite on taking risks. It's rather difficult to say what's best  investment , you can not predict the future. Calculate all risks and choose your strategy.

There is not really starting amount but you could say you want something substantial that will make something of a difference. Like making $0.01 a day is nothing substantial but if you can make it $0.10 a day that is a good starting point of $3 a month. You grow from then and you sometimes for $30 a month or $1 per day then you have a decent investment and you carry on from there. Start small and get use to it.

Depends on your budget. If you have extra money that you do not know how to spend it then you can trade or invest that in bitcoins. You just need a system to follow in buying and selling bitcoins to maximize your gain. It is up to you to discover your system that suit you.

Just don't borrow money to invest or trade because all trading and investing whether in stock market or bitcoin have risk.

I believed that bitcoin was better than stocks.

It is totally depends on you, whatever amount you can manage or afford is the good amount for the investment. Yes, it is a good option to invest into bitcoins rather into stocks. But if you want you can also divide your investments into bitcoins and stocks.

It really depends on your investment strategy and financial situation.
For me, I invest in both bitcoin and stocks. But stock is backed by more tangible assets, which makes me feel more comfortable.

Goodluck!!!
which site did you invest your 100$? In terms of money investing I carefully decide which is good to invest. Because I dont want to be scammed.

There is not a recommended amount since every person has their own circumstances there are those that can only afford 0.001BTC and there are people that can afford several BTC from the beginning.

Generally do not invest more than the money you can't lose, because the market is still volatile. You will make emotional actions easily and destroy your account when it moves to the opposite direction.

When Bitcoin went mainstream you were already late to the party. Still it's a good way to make money but you should see it as a long term investment. If you want quick profits (or losses) it can be more interesting to invest in altcoins in my experience.

In my opinion you should try to invest as much as you can, but definitely don't invest more than you can lose. You really shouldn't think of investing in cryptocurrency as a quick way to make money or to become a millionaire and believe in all those lambo memes that you read on reddit.Think of it as a long term investment that may or may not give you a decent return in a few years and try to put money into it every month or so and you'll eventually have a decent amount of money invested.

You should't start with an amount too low so transaction fees of the various exchanges won't kill it. I started with an amount of 150$ and try to keep doing this every month.

If you have a huge budget to invest, I suggest you buy 1 bitcoin. Because of the volatility of it's price, it can increase rapidly but it can also dump so hard. But as of now, the price of bitcoin seems a little bit stable and it's also rapidly increasing. So I guess now is a good time to invest to bitcoin. You'll never know how high can it reach by the end of the year. If the price of bitcoin increases continuously, you'll make a huge profit out of it. Even double the amount that you've invested if you're lucky enough.

It depends on how much you have but it's better to go all in in bitcoin. There's no doubt it will be doubled next year.

That’s a decision you’ll have to make on your own, but what you should consider are the fact that Bitcoin still remains one of the most watched and speculated currencies of all time. Research Bitcoin, what it is used for, what it would do for society, and if you believe it’s going to be adopted, then invest in it.  I myself research about Bitcoin almost everyday

This is entirely up to you and will depend on how much profit you  intend to receive

In United States Dollar currency please or Philippine Peso.
Again this is entirely all up to you or the exchangers  preferred  currency
and also, is it better to invest in bitcoin rather than investing in stocks?
I would say bitcoin is better because you get to manage everything unlike stock which is usually managed by a third party and payouts are all after a certain time frame
