I'm introducing CarbonWallet write up here http://bitcoinmagazine.com/introducing-carbon-wallet/

CarbonWallet.com is a determenistic online bitcoin wallet.

Note, since the article CarbonWallet is installable as a chrome extension.

The wallet is entirely browser based and compatible with Electrum passphrases. The code is completely open and the wallet is deployed directly from the repository.

Any questions, suggestion please let me know.

Just to clarify, is a deterministic wallet basically just a brain wallet? What are the differences?

Yesterday I tried to create a wallet, but the "Open wallet" button was always inactive after entering the generated passphrase.
Today it worked fine - Was there any change on the site? Otherwise there might be a browser compatibility issue...
It did not work yesterday with Chrome 26 on Arch linux, it worked today with Chrome 26.0.1410 on Windows 7.

Fetching the balance of a number of addresses would be quicker using the /multiaddr API call rather than calling addressbalance individually e.g.

https://blockchain.info/multiaddr?active=19BgLUEFhKAxbcELVMafbvZb4RCzGAkraa|1A8JiWcwvpY7tAopUkSnGuEYHmzGYfZPiq

If you don't want transactions included add a simple=true parameter as follows:

https://blockchain.info/multiaddr?active=19BgLUEFhKAxbcELVMafbvZb4RCzGAkraa|1A8JiWcwvpY7tAopUkSnGuEYHmzGYfZPiq&simple=true

Looks like a good concept.

Great, I like this wallet because it's not shared and it's pretty interesting.

Is the multiaddr function available with CORS headers ?

Is there any development on this wallet?  It would be really nice, in fact fantastic, if it was brought up to date so as to be compatible with the latest deterministic wallets like Trezor:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=122438.0

and the android application called wallet32:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bonsai.wallet32

I have tested these two wallets and they are totally compatible with each other:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=122438.msg7183991#msg7183991

But the carbonwallet appears to be out of date and does not accept the word list that was accepted by both Trezor and wallet32.

In order to be totally compatible carbonwallet would need to implement BIP32, BIP39 and BIP44.

There is no contact information on their web page:

http://carbonwallet.com

Has anyone here worked on this wallet or know someone who did work on it or is working on it?

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

Nice online wallet, design is great! But you can have only 10 addresses on online wallet. That makes me sad :/
