If you power down, then your voting power and curation share will become smaller. The amount of your STEEM power will be converted to STEEM, I guess slowly. Everyday, or every other day your Steem Power will become STEEM. You can trade your Steem to BTC if you want.

I've seen many quality posts out there in Steemit but unfortunately, some of them didn't go noticed by whales who provide the bulk of their possible earnings. Most of the time, I see the same names being upvoted by the same people even though their post seem to be redundant and lame. Most of the time you need to try harder and get your name out there since that will be your stepping stone towards receiving positive earnings from steemit and not just upvotes of small time fellow Steemit users.

 yeah i also notice it , your earning on steemit will depends in your post if its constructive .and also if they upvote comment and replies, the only one that i did not know is how to earn by voting each other ? Or you really need more followers to get passive earning?
