After the 1st August, there will be a wallet that enables you to fill in your private keys and you can earn BCC with that.

Bear in mind that while you have the private keys, I don't believe mycelium has announced that they will be supporting BCC. Even if they don't, you will still be able to claim your BCC by importing your private keys into a BCC client after August 1st.

isn't mycelium a seed? i'd want to empty my address before feeding the seed into somewhere else.

as far as i know they haven't said anything about having an option inside the wallet itself. if you're in a hurry better to use a wallet that will support it.

Similar question was asked here too https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2051845.msg20449872#msg20449872
I have made a reply there go through it and many other replies there you will find answer. Basically you have to find BCC supporting wallet after split and I think jaxx will be the first one to support it.

But be carefully with this event, in Bitcoin discussion have some thread talking about the risk when import our private key to wallet BCC. I understand the ratio this situasion happening very small, but careful not bad when the status easy panic in current

This, Is something which you're going to have to make sure you know enough about. I'd rather just go ahead and put my coins on a paper wallet if you want to take the gamble with playing with your Bitcoin cash when that occurs as you're going to be able to at least have full control over your coins, compared to an exchange being able to access that.

Also, MyCeilium Bitcoin Cash wallet is something that isn't something that is coming soon, the only confirmed one at the moment is going to be Electrum cash which is coming soon as a wallet.

Shouldn't be hard to access these coins though, you'll have the private keys and the same amount of Bitcoin on both forks.

If you can see at the top of head of this forum then probably you can found that there is a link for you still prepare for 1 August click there and you will get your answer surely .
But if you don't want visit there then here just made a simple thinking in your mind that you get new wallet or software and then put your private key in that wallet , and with the few clicks you will be able to access your new coin .
Since there is no surity of splitting ( 50-50% like conditions ), so instead to worry keep your private key safe and leave every tension from your mind .

Why to take the burden of these wallets and private keys when exchanges give you the offer to have both the coins. Yeah you read it right. Most of the traders would know this that bittrex is offering 1:1 ratio of bitcoin and citcoin cash after the fork. If we have 1 bitcoin , we will be having 1 bcc and 1btc after the fork. I have deposited all my coins on bittrex and there is no burden to me now. I can trade whenever i want, sell off my bcc as soon as i get it. Most people will sell bcc after the fork and that will surely make the price of bcc go down. Having bcc on exchange will give you an advantage to sell it before others.

Here is a wallet (airbitz) that will be able to secure your btc and then transact for your bch (bitcoin cash) later.

Mycelium does not support BCC yet, i see it in mycelium discussion forum. Many people ask about it and mycelium parties have not provided an answer.
You should look for another wallet, which already supports bcc.

Is this a possible outcome:

You give bcc your private key. Due to low amount of hashing power that shit gets hacked, you lose BOTH bcc and btc. I think to prevent this it would be advised to put your coins in a cold storage. When you descide to get you free cash you HAVE TO transfer your btc to a new adress first and the give bcc your old private key. Don't do anything stupid by giving some wanna be "devs" your private keys of btc!!!!

this looks easier.. but do we have to be careful when moving BTC out of biittrex after the fork? is there any risk with this?

Am I correct in thinking that you just want to know if your Mycelium wallet keys/passphrase can be restored at a designated BCC wallet? In order to claim your free BCC?

Move your coin to the electrum that has supported the hardfork that makes you able to receive your BCC. Make sure to confirm it in the bitcoin cash announcement thread to get a proper discussion regarding the wallet that has supported the bcc. I can say you will never receive your bitcoin cash in my celium. Because in this time only the electrum wallet has supported BCC conversion.
