I don't know that book, but not always taking the hardest road will give you the best reward, of course i talk about my own experience.

Yes, I read it and I think its meaning is usually misunderstood. The author, in my opinion, wanted to say even the road more traveled can give you high rewards in life. Don't need to be always offbeat

Most people think so. But if you read it more carefully you find the actual meaning of the poem. It basically says the two roads are interchangeable.

Yes. I have read this book by M. Scott Peck. Actually some of my principles came from this book. This is a very good book especially if you are kind of loss in this very busy world and you are looking for some insights to guide you a little bit. What strikes me the most is the "sacrificing present comfort for future gains" it kind of burned in my mind and what drives me forward.
