So, my interest is getting cheap into altcoins!
My position until now was that bitcoin will rise in price significantly before and during the August 1 fork because many will leave alts to get the free BCC coin and that prices of alts will lower significantly.
Following that scenario the smart thing would be to trade FIAT to BTC now and get cheap alts on Day D.

Now what bothers me is the other scenario, that when the fork occurs BTC will sink well bellow the $2000 mark and all the alts with it. The biggest sale of alts one could hope for. If you have FIAT to trade into cheap BTC to buy cheap alts, that is a big WIN.

What does everybody think? What is the smart way to go to enter alt market at a good price during the next few days?

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

If you do not know which one of the two options to pick then why you don’t pick both, you are not going to get as much profits but you cannot make a mistake by following both strategies.

No one knows what is going to happen. It is a gamble. I sold everything betting on a dip caused by the new updates

In my opinion the creation of bitcoin cash is just a speculation lots of people was happy with bip91 then bitcoin cash appeared. Best thing you can do is to don't take risk.

I believe that people exchanged their alts to bitcoin. That is why altcoins are pretty low, but bitcoin is expensive. After1 august main altcoin prices will start jumping when people understand that there is no meaning to escape from altcoins.

that is going to be very interesting to see.... i think everyone keeps on saying that majority of altcoins depends on BTC but after the fork we might see something very different. i hope that only good projects boom while BTC goes down and not all the shitcoins in general after 1st august

The smartest way is not to enter a market at such an unpredictable/volatile period. Trading is somewhat a gamble anyway, but should be based on sound analysis. If the sound analysis cannot find strong leaning, then don't enter. Wait first and see.
