That's what we don't know yet. I'm not going along with larger blocks (SegWit2x hard fork) just because the miners and those who have an interest in larger blocks spammed Bitcoin to promote their adjenda.

Do not be confused about this. For an ordinary person like me, i will just wait with what will happen later and if you ask what coin will be the main coin. My opinion is bitcoin will always be the main one, because bitcoin is the originator of crypto.

no there will never be two BTC or two bitcoin. there will always be 1 bitcoin that a lot of people fork it and create their own project. these projects that are forked from bitcoin are called alternative cryptocurrencies aka altcoins.

now many of these altcoins do airdrops to bitcoin stake holders. meaning they give away a certain number of their own coin based on how much bitcoin you own.
for example if you own 10BTC, you could have claimed 0.65 GBYTE (byteball).

this new altcoin is called Bitcoin Cash, is a little different from the previous ones. this one is directly forking the bitcoin chain so you don't have to do anything extra to claim your airdrops. you just have them if you have bitcoin before their fork.
for example if you own 10BTC you will also automatically own 10 BCC

It will be BTC and then BCC also you can get free BCC in a exchanges before august 1 if you have a bitcoin in your acount in some exchanges like bitrex etc you will get the same amount of BCC acording to your bitcoin like if you have 1 bitcoin in your acount you will also get 1 BCC in your acount obviously a free money.

We're not sure about the split yet. I think chances of a split happening is very low since BIP 91 is doing well.

If you currently have 1 BTC, after the split (if it happens) you will have 1 BTC and 1 BCC.

Although financially it won't work out as a free dividend as the free market will adjust so that the price of BTC will go down roughly the amount that BCC is worth.

You must have control of your private key on the day of split to be sure you will receive both coins. Don't leave your coins on an exchange.

So guys what do you suggest? Don't make any transaction on and after august 1? I have read so many articles that suggesting better not to do or make any transaction on august 1 to keep in safe your bitcoin you have.

Here we don't need to be confused , probably there are less chances of the spliting but  if splitting happen then it is the duty of the blockchain team to guide us that how to get all the two coins and tell which one of them is btc and which is new coin .
Here we can make small idea of the ETH fork , where new coin named as ETH and original coin named as ETC ( most of the people were against this descion but no one can do anything ) .
So probably here may be a chance that newly generated coin named as BTC by the team of blockchain and old coin that is bitcoin is named at Bitcoin cash .

Do not store your Bitcoin in online wallet save it in offline wallet or wallet software so your bitcoin is really safe

This is two Bitcoins in the other one will low on price and the other 1 is a champion. And I think Bitcoins is still better than BCC

There is and will always be one Bitcoin, this Bitcoin we have today. BCC ll be just an alt coin, like LTC or Dash, just with a similar name. I d also say it ll be a copycat which brings absolutely nothing and it is a result of a few greedy Chinese miners trying to find something to mine since BTC difficulty gets to be too high for them. All in all, get it, dump it the moment you get it and buy some alts.

Cause after this fuzz gets resolved, people will start getting back to alt coins which were sold these last days to get free BCC.

At August 1, 12:20 PM UTC, the chains will split into two, Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. The main chain would be the one who will get the most hash rate from the miners. I'm opening up the possibility that bitcoin cash would gain some strength and to give BCC some form of respect for voicing out their opinions re: scaling issue of bitcoin.

Wait and see but there is a pretty high chance that it will end up with BTC w/ Segwit being the dominant crypto due to a larger support from miners and a lack of support for the "classic" alternative of Bitcoin Cash. Personally I will just be closing my positions and not giving a damn about what happens with the fork until the community can (mostly) decide on one, and if they can't do that then my positions will remain closed or I will seek to make a profit off of the instability of the market. For right now there's no point caring unless you have a stake in the market, and if you have Bitcoin you'll also get some BCC to sell off (or sell off BTC if everything goes wrong).

No one knows the exact procedure of how splitting will happen because we are not technically aware of the core system of bitcoin. So better to wait for it instead of making wrong predictions. Don't be confused just wait and watch, hope so it would be better for us.

Well at least now we know that majority of the bitcoin community doesn't like the second version of btc. This bitcoincash would just be ignored and disappear just like an altcoin that no one cares about.

Or maybe not? because bitcoin cash is another cryptocurrency maybe it will be became famous just like other coin but I hope after the splitting the bitcoin will pump again and I am sure after that there will be many ICO that is going to start. I am looking forward to bitcoin cash since it is a free coin.

Lol i feel you. I'm such a newbie and really don't understand about this august 1. What i only know is just bitcoin will split.
What's going to happen though? Except that the price might be drop and such.
I'm clearly clueless... Someone please help explain this to me. Because usually i read that people don't really know too about this.
