I would say so. If Blockchain.info isn't safe to hold Bitcoin, literally no online wallet is.

With that said, online wallets are no where near as safe as cold wallets. Research "paper wallet". There are tons of examples on YouTube if you want to try making one. It takes 5 minutes and is easy and your Bitcoins are safe in your own hands.

Thank you for the speedy response sir, I will look into paper wallets as an alternative. Thank you.

For me i think if you had fully control with your private keys or seeds you can use blockchain but i am not guarantee that you can safely save your bitcoin into blockchain.. or i think much better to save your bitcoins in paper wallet instead if you really want your bitcoin to be save safety..
Much more recommended wallet i think you can use electrum that i think much safety of our bitcoins.

Yes, if you do have this 12 phrase words you would actually not lose up that wallet for sure. You can recover it anytime and which i can say that it is somehow safe compared on exchange wallets. I would still recommend this one since they do also support BCC coin which means it would really update and would possibly give you the chance on having BCC when split is already happening. If you are really on doubt then download bitcoin core or either electrum would be enough already.

This has been asked already in this forum so I don't think new thread like this one is required at all.

Anyway, if you want to get free BCC for your bitcoin than its better to move it to electrum or jaxx.
