This is really serious but the argument they always give is the fact that the end justify the means of their action by keeping the entire populace safe and if going extra mile is what its going to take, then so be it. However, there should be a limit that should be applied to human beings no matter the suspected offence and I think the Senate is really doing something about it in curtailing the extreme measures being taken on humans.
