you can invest in bitcoin since the segwit is successful and its on its way to pump up to 4000$ i guess it is the best way to start and have a investment but you could also invest in other altcoins so that when it pump you will get a good profit.

Bitcoin itself is a good investment. It is like gold and other currency with a fluctuating value but has a good future and said to increase more its price in the future. Aside from that, trading and buying other altcoins are good investment for me. Some altcoins also has lot of potential and might give you good profit in the future.

I will suggest the same. Investing in Bitcoins is the best for at the moment. Volatility is a feature of all the valuables but Bitcoins prices pump more than dump. I haven't gone for altcoins because I am not very much sure about their future but altcoins can help to get more bitcoins.
