I don't think there's a flattr style "number of flattr" button, but you can create a little TipIt button by choosing "promote" once you've set one up. You can also choose to show a QR-code button, nice if you want to print it out somewhere.

I just found You Tip It. Very cool site! I hope to see some very creative stuff going on.

We need more creative ideas with Bitcoin. Everyone is always talking about making money. That's cool, but how about we get some ideas going that don't involve investing.

Hope to see more of this!

Hi guys,

Im Brian from Youtipit. We are slowly trying to build up our features overtime(obviously our resources are not quite as strong as Flattr  Tongue)
I would love to hear from you guys as  to what you would need from a service like ours. We are really open to implementing ideas that will help us grow.

Actually here is a feature we just set up today: live tipits!
http://www.youtipit.org/t/J1834-4
Im just testing it now so its just a video of me working but you get the idea. Tip people as they do their thing!

Guys seriously I would  love  to hear from you with interesting ideas. We are growing thanks to bitcoin but we need more input from people  who are interested in what we are trying to do.

Cheers,

Brian

Related? I got an email from someone at flattr saying they were interested in bitcoin, and were considering adding along with some other currencies.

They seem pretty active on this - I got a twitter reply frmo one of them on the same issue. I got the impression they were more interested in being able to pay for the flattr service with BTC, rather than pass BTC on to other people, but it's a start, right? Smiley

I like this a lot.

I actually linked my signature image to YouTipIt acting as a landing / pre-page to my site if people go through the signature.    When I have the time I want to fancy up my page.

Edit:

Made a 100 x 100 button but the sides and top are messed up on a white background, I won't be able to finish till later.  Here is the .psd if someone wants to mess around with those edges and put your own stamp on it

One of our new, and motivated, users has created something of interest for readers of this thread.
frisco2 has created a tipping site of his own using BTC.

swinewine, here's something you might want to consider for those not wanting to add funds first, then tip: create plugins for all web browsers that interacts with the bitcoin client and sends tip to the right address, thus when clicking "tipit", you actually tip immediately using the client.
Also, the whole deal with enforcing www.youtipit.org is quite annoying.

Ok thats an interesting idea but its a bit of a jump from our web based code. I see what you are getting at here, let us have a  think about it. Also "youtipit.org" now resolves.

I'm revamping online-tipar.com -- if you want something not on youripit or flattr, let me know now. I basically want it to be in some way different, so it's not a clone.

Crosspass -- a simple way to send passwords, encryption keys, bitcoin addresses, etc.
