The price of bitcoin will certainly fall, the question is:'How low will it go?'. It will certainly have an effect on the price but I don't really care how low it goes, if we see bitcoin at 1300$ it will only be a better opportunity for me to buy in. But there's also a chance that the price will soar to new heights, so it's best to buy now and hold for a couple of months. I'm in for the long run so I'm sat here with my private keys eating popcorn.

No, I think it will have minor impact.

It's just another altcoin, that's it. People will try to get a quick buck out of it but nothing in the end it will die.

I really doubt the value of bitcoin is going to fall at all, at the moment, the price of bitcoin cash which in non existent at the moment is rather falling, at first it was around $600 and now it has plummeted to as low as $300, when the fork eventually takes place am sure its going to go lower than that. That currency will not survive.

No, i think bitcoin cash is not enough supported to effect bitcoin price. More important for bitcoin price is, how smooth the transactions will work after August 1.
For my opinion BTC will continue its upturn. But I will hold gained Bitcoin Cash also.

Unlike you I wouldn't hold BCC, I will sell as soon I claim it. Because holding it and expect it go up in price is foolish, No one supports it.

For me I don't see any major effect that BCC will have on the bitcoin price because one of the main factors that influence the price of any coin whatsoever is the availability of it on major exchange sites which currently BCC does not possess and by that comparing it with the version of bitcoin that is available and generally accepted, then if its even going to affect anything, I expect it to be of minimal effect.

No don't buy Bitcoin for bcc it's a waste of coin and it shall sooner or later be deleted from the market. Have you even seen the small amount of support its got it. Won't last a week, it shall be dumped instantly. As for the price Bitcoin shall not have any effect on the price it shall continue its bull run for good. People would be really stupid to buy this. Just avoid transactions tomorrow late in night and on August 1st. Stick to Bitcoin only.

100% agree. It's just a couple of people that want Cash and now create a lot of FUD in the market.

We completely do not need another Bitcoin, everyone knows. The only reason Exchanges accept them, is because they are businesses; they want the fees, nothing else.

It is hard to believe that bcc will impact btc price negatively. Although everyone wants to get bcc and many wallets will be supporting both chain but there are only few who doing this on the cost of btc. Thus, I don't believe the demand and price of bitcoin any how going to be shaken by bcc introduction as it is accepted more as altcoin or-

unless the whales decide to manipulate and dump the price, i don't see any reason for it to go down. it will go up after August 1st and will surely break $3000.

the effect that bitcoin cash can have on price is that it can speed it up as people sell their BCC to gain more money to buy bitcoin with.

As we all know that Bitcoin is very strong as I heard bittrex is offering Bcc as well to those who is having bitcoin on bittrex platform, I think Bcc will not be as much popular as Btc I don't think so it will effect Btc but for shorter time we can see little drop in Btc but Bcc will not be able to damage Btc. Sooner or later Bcc will be dump as we all trust on Btc none other coin can overtake or replace Btc in near future. Ultimately Btc will keep moving to upside.

Yeah I totally think that there is no one supporting BCC at the moment,
And I hope that the transaction of bitcoin would be faster and better after August 1,
