Reading all this here -makes me feel like buying two 1070 is better than getting 1 x 1080ti
For example you guys are getting ~ on average 400-450 sol - with 1070 single out of box. The 1080ti is getting 700-740 with +150 core and +300 memory.
Skein you are getting 450-550 - 1x 1070
and 1080ti get 900-990 - with overclock.
Cost wise 1080ti is around what 900-1k
Dual 1070 similar cost ?
Problem is, you can only fit 3 sets of 1070s in a 6 card rig, you can fit 6 1080tis. Which means you need to buy twice as many boards/chips/ram/ssd/psu to house the same number of cards... If you are only going to run the 2 cards in a pc then I guess sure, you'll get more bang for your buck, but in bulk the ti wins. Oh I see what you mean now- So dual is indeed better - especially with currency in downtrend- one would benefit from buying something that has quicker ROI. I have these slots. Slot 1: PCI-Express x16 Gen 3i Slot 2: PCI-Express x4 Gen 2 Slot 3: PCI-Express x16 Gen 3i Slot 4: PCI-Express x1 Gen 2 Slot 5: PCI-Express x16 Gen 3i and 1500 watt PSU in my PC - what does that translate into? You would need risers, video cards, and probably want to pull your board out of the case and set it up somewhere you rig up your cards with risers. Also need to make sure you will be able to power 5 cards you want to run with that PSU (Ti's typically take 2x(6+2) pin connectors each). |

How? Do you over look the algorithm and coin after the hashrate? With groestl algorithm, 1070 can reach 36mh/s easily with stock clock. 40 mh/s should not be an issue with OC. |

Anybody mining with Zotac Minis?
1070s are hard to find, but I can get the Zotac for a good price and would like to know what hashrate people are getting?
I dont want to dig forum for you, but u can go on this Zotac mini, Zotac is a nice brand and can handle nice OC. Of course is not a AMP edition but it will do the job. Maybe u need a proper air flow with this one, that all i think. |

But zotac mini with single fan's temperature will be a bit higher, it is very much depends on your room temperature if you max the OC. |

32MH/s is quite best hashrate for 1070, mind sharing your configuration? I have 6 Gainward 1070 Phoenix cards. 5 of them with GS sign on the corner of the card or no sign at all are at 30.7 mh. The sixth card is with GLH sign and I'm getting 32.5 mh. It is pricier too. |

I get from 30.8-31.5 MH ETH and around 480 KH for SIA

I get 29.3 - 30 MH per card
I believe I can manage a little better results if I overclock cards individually. It seems that I have one weaker card which limits my overclocking in bulk.

Whats the memory type on all your cards. I have uninstalled the software which can check for this in the meantime. But I checked when I was setting the rig and I remember it was not Samsung (I believe the best one for OC). All 4 cards have same memory, I think micronis, so that is not the reason for different results. |

After installing the new drivers my hashrates dropped and the card was less stable - I used to be getting consistent 495-505 sol/s and can overclock to core+144 and memory+536. My power consumption now is around 180w.
