Hi Everyone,

I just wrote a very simple quick guide of what to do for August 1st.  I am hoping this could help a few people.

Most major wallets have released guides on how to claim your coins using their wallet.

You should always be careful when downloading any file, especially crypto related. Always check the checksum and run it through a service like virustotal.

Why not do a quick guide on how exactly to do that with a certain example so it's dumbed down for people? Running it through virus total is as easy as copy and pasting but a checksum is a little more complicated.

The easiest thing for actual tech idiots is to just send the coin to an exchange that is crediting the bitcoin cash and withdraw your btc and possibly bcc after the fork.

Anyone who isn't sure of what they are doing SHOULD NOT be trying to split their coins themselves.
