Bitcoin split and BitGo Online wallet

I've been using the BitGo wallet for quite some time to hold any Bitcoin that comes from the signature campaigns. Unfortunately, I cannot find much information about whether or not BitGo will support the upcoming fork, the only article I've found dates back to April.

I found this article which dates two days back.

In short, they don't have the time to support Bitcoin Cash if the hard fork actually continues. So, if you want to benefit of the situation, move your coins to a wallet that will support BCC.

If you keep holding your bitcoin in that wallet, you're not getting any bitcoin cash after bitcoin split will take place in 1 August. So you need to put your bitcoin in a wallet whose private key is known by you. Electrum for example.

BitGo only offers you your private keys once, when these keys are created, in the form of an encrypted PDF Keycard. Therefore, you will only have one chance to save or print these keys. If you did not print or save the keys in any form, there is nothing BitGo can do to distribute your keys back to you at a later time.

yes today is the end of july, many of article don't recommend to move our coins into other wallet in this day because maybe the transaction will be crowded and maybe there will be some missing in transaction. i am not sure about this, but if you want, you can try to send small amount to test it.

Thanks for the heads up, I'd rather not make any transactions, I've also read that it's not really recommended right now. The fees are pretty high too, for the amount I have on BitGo, not worth it, I'll just keep them there and wait.

Just transfer all your BTC to an electrum desktop wallet and you will be good to go. The idea is to have control over your private keys.

Has anyone, who had BTC in the BitGo wallet during the fork, managed to obtain BCC? If so, what did you do?

They said they're working on a tool to send BCC to another wallet that's compatible with the token.
The tool was supposed to be released yesterday, but I haven't noticed anything about that so far.

I had some BTC on mine, you have the private keys, you get them when you sign up but I think that there wasn't a way to obtain your BCC. BitGo didn't support the fork.
I think you should have moved your BTC on a desktop wallet like Electrum as the previous poster suggested. Not sure if you can still claim your BCC, I would also like to know that.

If they haven't support Bitcoin Cash, I'm pretty sure that they won't support all those new scam forks comming in the future.

Bitcoin Cash is by far the "most legit" fork that already happened and probably will in the near future.
But like the other users already said, if you want to spend your forked coins yourself, you may by importing your BitGo private keys in a supported wallet.

After a long way of going back and forth, It was soon announced that they will support BCH. Apparently, the popular demand from users played a great part.

For bitcoin gold, As of now they don't support it and I doubt that they will.

Bitcoin Gold is currently not supported by BitGo. We will continue to monitor the market viability of this blockchain to determine when and if we will support it. BitGo is committed to providing a secure wallet and takes great caution in adding new digital currencies.

As for the other forks or possible forks like super bitcoin, bitcoin god, bitcoin platinum etc.. There is no news about that but it should be given that they're a plain junk so they most likely won't support it.
