If you had the choice to buy only one of the two today which 1 would it be? Monero or LTC? don't really need brains to decide on this  |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

If you had the choice to buy only one of the two today which 1 would it be? Monero or LTC? don't really need brains to decide on this I'd say Monero. It's more or less at the bottom now. Price under 200 ema at 1 day chart, thus I think it's cheap atm. On the other hand, I think LTC is still overpriced and bottom will be at ~0.010. Also for long hold I think Monero is better. Obviously that's just a guess. Don't take my word. |

Both are having different case scenario
XMR is for completely anonymous
whereas LTC planning to hit stores and more use case compare to his daddy BTC..
both can rise on their given day

I'll go with LTC because it is better than Monero for me because LTC is like the silver of bitcoin so if we will lose bitcoin then we can use litecoin which is almost the same with bitcoin and a better coin compare to other altcoins in terms of back up for bitcoin but if you guys like a privacy coin then monero is the best.

Monero is a better investment but as someone else stated LTC has more of an adoption value.

LTC is very stable and in use,good choice for that time of chaos,but dversification s a key,so maybe consider to buy both

I put everything into LTC last night because i was scared it was "cheap" relative to Monero at the time
I'd say look at the charts, make short term buys off that
Long term I guess monero, but it's hard to tell

I had tons of LTC which I sold in loss yesterday. Now that bitcoin is going to get the segwit activated, there is no space for further growth of LTC. On the other hand Monero is one of the best scalable and anonymous coin available. I would pick Monero with my eyes closed.

I'd buy Monero, man.
Seriously though, I favor Monero as a project due to its features.
Both have prospects for a price increase in the future. Monero will always be the first choice when it comes to dark web markets.

Even if I personally think that LTC is better as a coin than monero, I know that monero has more potential to grow in the future than LTC. Also LTC is a bit overpriced right now, while monero is still underpriced and therefore, has a big chance to pump sooner or later this year. I would consider changing choices if ltc dumps like crazy now. |

I think it's bad branding telling everyone it's so secure you can feel safe that child molestors and cartel drug lords use Monero as their coin of choice. The obvious response is "what about the children?" I think LTC while a riskier bet but has way more upside. Monero is not going to shoot to the moon. If it gained any traction people would just beat it down with "what about the children" remarks. Better fundamentals aren't going to overcome a branding issue like that. And it will come Possible market cap is much lower on Monero IMO edit - and since i didn't put any caveats in. I like mind altering substances and see the obvious benefit to monero...Just trying to be realistic about it's mass adoption to really go to the moon |

Well seeing as LTC has jumped significantly upwards and Monero has slipped downwards since the time the OP posted obviously the best choice to buy today was LTC. Maybe you'll have a better day tomorrow Moneroman88
