Have you ever thought about quitting this completely? My friend just bought some Monero and BTC and he said NO! Screw the altcoin guys! I'll work and relax and check back yearly. Cool dude. Needless to say he made more than 90% of daily traders in the year

As long as I'm gaining profit from it why would I quit. Anyways, I still have other ways to earn money. So, maybe if I'm not gaining anything from any cryptocurrencies, I'll just quit and focus on my job.

This is a pretty idiotic mindset, there is so much potential in some altcoins both existing and upcoming from a financial perspective that to ignore them completely for the rest of time is just throwing away huge potential gains down the road.

It's called not looking outside the box.
Alt coins are the new technology that has/is going to make human life much simpler and economic exchange much efficient.
There's no place to look back.

I think it's excessive, and not good to do. Unless you have a lot of money to invest, so you are not afraid of losing money. A dangerous thought in altcoin trading. Prediction should be done regularly, Every month or week.

Quit? Holy balls! Altcoins are the only reason I'm here in the first place. I am and will always be a shitcoiner. That also helps me a lot to not give a rat's ass about bitcoin price and what kind of shenanigans Roger Rabbit and Jihad What's-His-Face come up with

A lot of people are earning because of alt coins. So, I don't see the point of quitting the altcoin world. I think that it will show it's full potential in the future, so I will just keep my altcoins and hope that it will grow more in the future. A lot of alt coins are showing a lot of potential in the market nowadays. That's one of the reason why I think that altcoin wil still go far. Another reason not to quit.

I have the same feeling like you, when I was a newbie to this market, I can not stop to check the price pumped or dumped when I have time, which make me very tired. But now, I think it is better to make a long term investment and do not put too many money and effort in it.

Alt coins are risky, very risky.

But risk and opportunities always co-exists.

Those who earned a lot from the boom of BTC need to invest some where, and alts are the best choices in some cases.

If we quit, how can you grow your BTC base?

There are some of the goods Altcoins where if invested at the pre ICO stage or at right time could yield a magnificent returns in the coming time. Ignoring such coin means you are ignoring the great opportunity to make money. Do you research and if you believe in the company and its team then you should invest in such coins.

Well we do have our different kind of ways on doing trading or investing.People are different on how they would do secure their profits either for long term or short term. There are people who do love to see profits on shorter basis. I can say long traders would really have much more profits on on most traders but would still depend on how coin would move its price on yearly basis. This mindset isnt bad though but still okay as long we do make money.

No. The altcoin world is amazing and there are some seriously promising projects out there. Alts are good - they create competition and innovation that BTC can then integrate safely in the future. It is why Litecoin did SegWit first. Satoshi himself it was unreasonable for Bitcoin to a usecase for every single thing and that other coins can fill those niches. Bitcoin can be the backbone of the crytpocurrency world, but alts can ride right along with them.

Quitting the altcoin world is ridiculous. Why would you quit when you are having fun while gaining some profit? Though one may not always gain, sometimes you'll lose, but we all know the risks and we have choices; to trade or hold some coins for a while and wait.

why i should? there are always some profitable coin, that increase a lot and you can do good money, i don't think si wise to give up on the altcoin, and it's not that stressful either, you just buy cheap coin and wait for the pump lol, or buy new coin and wait for bigger exchange, always worked for me, and also you have mining, that give you profit without doing anything

Altcoins give much more possobility to earn, than bitcoin. Mostly all of the altcoins are undervalued at the moment and it is easy to get profit from them. If i have an option to choose, i will still choose altcoin, instead of bitcoin Shocked

Why would you even quit at this point in time?
These have been the most interesting times for altcoins, compared to a few years ago.

We've seen them gain a lot of marketshare from Bitcoin and the coins in the top 10 on Coinmarketcap have never had such high values as this past year.

Now all the focus is temporarily on Bitcoin again, because of August 1, but after everything settles down again, there will be more focus on Altcoins as well.
