Bitcoin Value Going Up?

Not really, until now everyone does not panic at hearing bad news at least every problem on bitcoin. All bitcoin bag holders just need a little relax to see it back to normal

We can't really say that the value of bitcoin is going up as of now because there is a threat which is the bitcoin cash and we can feel the effect after the fork in august 1st which most of the bitcoin holders feared about because they also believe that the price of bitcoin or value of it will go down significantly which will lead for having a huge loss in our investment.

I absolutely agree to that, no one can’t predict what will happen to the value of bitcoin and when it will going up. In addition to that, as of now many people and bitcoin users believe that the price of bitcoin will rapidly increase and I think it’s because of the fork in August 1. Lastly, I believe that the price of bitcoin will be increase day by day after the fork in August 1.

Bitcoin holders will determine whether the price will rise or not soon as prices are determined by supply and demand. I think those investors have kept their Bitcoin till now ( I mean August 1 event) will continue to hold their Bitcoins. Those who had panicked and had sold their Bitcoins will buy again. With this high demand and low supply, the price increase is inevitable.

Moreover, some have even invested recently. Rothschilds did on the sum of $130k or something like that.
I think people calmed down because bip was successfully activated and now they believe btc will succeed and the price will go to the moon right after tomorrow (just look at prediction threads, that's what most vote for). Thus, people buy even more until they can before the price goes crazy.

Is anyone else surprised by this? I expected it to go down with all the negative hype surrounding tomorrow. Do you think it has to do with the Segwit agreement or maybe BTC-e refunding it customers (which is amazing by the way).

OR! Does anyone still predict the apocalypse tomorrow? Regardless, I will be holding on to my BTC until the price is much much higher but I'm interested in seeing what the community thinks.

yes i didnt expect it too, but for me its kinda cool,i hope that my other coin will be go more higher and higher too, i believe that it will be. we all hope for a better future for bitcoin so let just pray and hopes that it will have a stable value.

It is just clever people with ksrge Bitcoin bags manipulating the rest of us to sell our Bitcoin to them from cheap (it was below $2000) this spun them such a fast profit they dizzy. Bitcoin is going to keep going up watch and see.

It'll float around the 2700-2800 today and tomorrow, then it will reach 3K, and after Segwit activation we can go to 4K.

I seriously hope that there will be a drop in the price after the activation, even for a day or two, or maybe for a little longer than that. Then it can jump to how much it wants.

Wait and see, I prefer to keep my BTC. I don't like BCC or BTU. BTC is the best. No prefix and suffix. BTC is BTC. The price will be pumped highly. Many people also wait and see when they will make a lot of profit from the situation.

Yes, the price is rising and we can safely expect more volatility after getting a green signal from the centre for the regular transactions. However, I don't think that price will be floating anywhere below $3K on and after 1 September. The current upcoming schedule event would make Bitcoin user experience much better and thus I am expecting the little increase in the user base. However, I agree on the part that volatility in the price is not going anywhere.

Is this the last day of bitcoin? I dont think so ,cause bitcoin will live forever , bitcoin will be the next big thing to hit every country. People who save bitcoin will be millionaires  someday,.

I agreed on you dude, bitcoin will last forever as long as there is a bitcoin believers like us who will continue to push the good things has.
Also indeed that people who save bitcoin will become millionaires. However to those who got worried and believed in bitcoin split, they are not deep in bitcoin and not true believers of bitcoin yet.

Maybe because of the panic that they dont know what to do?  
Perhaps, it is being pushed by new buyers who wants to get in before the big event.
This might be a wise decision or not. Everything now cannot be foretell and they happen to make decision now that are risky but aint it good? When everything goes back to normal it might be at higher value. Who knows?

Bitcoin value is going up as it expected becasue all the community focussed on getting bitcoincash during the blockchain split. After they dump their bitcoincash, the price of real bitcoin could decline a bit.

Actually that is somewhat the same with the eth hardfork. But offcourse it is hard to compare them. For me there is nothing wrong with having bcc but there is also a chance that bcc would not have a good price increase. Hardfork is just a way to decrease the issue on fees and creating another altcoin. But bcc has a better feature that btc and its hard to just impose judgement on bcc just because of some old examples. We just have to wait after the implementation.

The Bitcoin value will not go down and everyone knows this know. No one is believing in negative hyips and all such stuff. Everyone is waiting for a soft fork which shall make bitcoin worth even more than before.  This is the main reason why price is not falling even we are just a few hours from the unexpected fork.

Yes we cant predict the price of bitcoin and we will never know what might gonna happen. But I think price will going up. Anyway, lets check and observe the movement of the price would be.

Does anyone see BCC retaining some value until mid-September? The Ambrosus ICO doesnt go until then and I'd like to use my BCC to convert to Amber. But I dont want to wait for it if by mid-august the coin is dead or has lost significant value.

I think a lot of people have pulled their coins from exchanges and transferred it to cold storage. So you have less coins

available to fill buy orders and that will push up the price, because there are a bigger demand than supply. Yes, some people

are still buying and more people are hoarding now. We might see a much lower price after the 1st of August, when people

move back onto the exchanges. I think a bunch of people will then sell BCC to buy BTC and this might cancel out the price

decrease.

There is no need to fear Segwit. After Segwit, prices of fork are going to give ride to moon. Bitcoin cash would not significantly affect the prices of bitcoins. Bitcoins’ supporters should not give up on their coins. Their loyalty to bitcoins is going to pay them off. Some haters are trying to spread rumors about the downfall of bitcoins.

The price is going up again and it's August 1  I think the result will be very much favorable, bitcoin reaches $2900 very much likely to reach $3000, I think the prediction that it can reach to $4000 before the year end can happen anytime. Many are now celebrating because they didn't sell their bitcoin when the price is crashing down instead they hold it up to this moment. Bitcoin proves that it is really a good long term investment though very unpredictable but when increases it gives favorable outcome.
