How to list altcoins on exchanges? Scrypt algorithm

As written in the subject above, what are the processes to list altcoins on exchanges? I am talking about a coin which uses Scrypt algorithm. Is there any step-by-step guide? The reason why I am asking this is because I want to list a coin on exchanges simply becos the Dev are freaking inefficient tho I am neither the developer nor associated with the Dev team.
