A sharp drop in prices. Will lead to the fact that the miners of this chain is shut off.
In coordinated attack the currency can be a few hours to kill.
This will lead to a multiple increase in the price of bitcoin!

after segwit implementation, everyone will get free BCC and will dump for sure see BCC = a pure altcoin but it is coming based on BTC blockchain same mining algorithm and same 21 M coins but block size alone = 8MB clear ? They start a new coin IN middle  |

Pretty sure everyone is dumping Bitcoin Cash the second they get it. I have yet to see anyone who is excited about it or looking to keep it. This whol thing is ridiculous... can't wait til it''s over.  |

Not a fan of the USHF but will hold on to my BCH nonetheless. If ETC is any indication than this thing is not just going to die, the way I look at it, there is only upside here. BTC will continue to thrive as it has overcome what some thought to be catastrophe and BCH will end up being an Alt (likely still in the top 10 or market cap) that may someday find a use. This is simply our form of governance and such an event will likely happen many more times over the course of history.

Everyone here knows bitmain-cash is a scam-coin but I don't feel one milligram of guilt taking money from those greedy venture capitalist investors/bankers/millionaires/ hedge funds so I'll hold for a while to see if it gains any real support.
I like the idea that I"ll be getting a little bit of my money back from Jihan Wu assuming he goes full retard and tries to prop up this shit-coin.

The problem is most would want to maximise their gains from free BCC (or 'BCH'?), dumping together with everyone else makes little sense. To get the most of it, it's best to either be among the first dumpers (sell high), or just hold and wait it out, hoping the price will recover. You risk nothing after all, selling low say at ~$10 or below makes sense as sending a political message but would be rather stupid from economical point of view. |

My decision is heavily dependent on the situation. In all honesty I don't really care about bcc, so the plan is to dump it for more btc but at the same time I don't want to risk my current btc holdings by importing my private keys into an unstable wallet that supports bcc. It's also very possible that the price is already so low by the time I wake up (I live in Europe). So if things get ugly I'm just holding.

Here is why, call BCH/BCC whatever you want, if Ver and Bitmain are invested it is best the coins value holds or rises, meaning they wish to have it succeed.
Dumping early is childish imo, sure you may gain a short term value out of it but longer term may be better, much better.

come on guys - think. Do you really think that the persons behind bitcoin cash are forking just because they can/want to? Of course not. They will not allow the price to be dumped. They will of course want the price to rise over time, so HODL is the only good choice here.

I will hold it for a long period of time. If the scaling debate gets messy again, Bitcoin Cash may gain value. In any case, given the negative sentiment around Bitcoin Cash, I may not gain much by dumping it immediately. |

It would fully depend on the situation. At first i do told myself when once i do recieve my BCC i would immediately sell off as fast as i can because im sure most people or bitcoin users would really tend to do such thing which means price dumps would really comes next on BCC but i do change my mind on which i would wait for a week and observed on how bcc would behave on the market and if i do see some potential opportunities to earn then it isnt bad at all to make an engagement with it. |

Look at bitcoin cash (futures) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/Price have dropped from over speculated price of $400 to below $300 so you can imagine how much it can drop when all bitcoin holders can easily sell off their free BCC. I will be happy to dump BCC for even $100 because its free. BTC price can shoot to $3000+ after this split. |

Any good investor will first see what the market does, before they make investment decisions. Rushing into dumping may be a bit premature and a decision based on emotion. Let's not influence our decision to hoard or to sell on trivial conflict between two groups that will tear each other apart over this. There is still some crazy politics that will play out in the next few weeks. People will make decisions with their heart and not their mind. I am loyal to NO group, only to the investment that I made and the principle of freedom that this currency might offer to everyone. |

From what I understand, the difference between Ether and Bitcoin split is that Ether has 2 communities (which consist of both miner and investors) but BCC has only mostly miner as its' community. |

There are many negative rumors spreading about BCC, in long run the value BCC will be lesser than the actual price. There are many big exchanges not supporting the BCC, I don't know exactly what was the reason behind it. It's always better to dump and convert them into BTC is the best option.
