Not worth the risk of a replay attack and losing all your btc.

It'll be interesting to see the exchanges handle this... I don't imagine they're all going to list BCC at the same time.  I'm on Bitfinex and I know they're supporting it but I wonder when it'll list.

Well the bright side is surely there will be profit during bcc dumping by members and traders. Because we've already got nothing to lose in the splitting. Even if the price goes to only 10$, there is alwAys a profit. But off course after dumping, a lot  of coins too will have there own pump. New era for bitcoiners as they say.

Roger Ver has already said that he is ready to dump his huge Bitcoin stash (estimated to be worth around BTC300,000) to purchase BCC. If the Bitcoin Cash lists at around BTC0.01, then Ver just needs to spend 25% of his coins to purchase half of all the BCC tokens.

Im worried that by the time I log into my wallet, send BCC to an exchange, log into exchange etc. that BCC may already reach $0 value meaning I was too late to dump so might as well hold right? No point selling it for pennies.

So whats the fastest way to dump bcc, whats everybody's plans?

Also do we have to split BCC from BTC first in our wallets which means even more precious time consumed correct?
I think that there will be no need for you to take that much tensions and increase your blood pressure as i think that probably split will not happen and no BCC,only BTC.Even most BCC supporters are already worried that no big exchange has given support to BCC.Just sit back in your seat and watch the climax eating your popcorn.

If you really wanted first hand action on the hectic trading you should have either kept your Bitcoins on an exchange that offered to split the coins for your or just bought BCC futures instead. Some people will have quite an advantage over the rest and some will probably end up picking up scraps because they were too slow.

Is it likely that BTC price will dump as a result of split?

Keep your Bitcoin on exchange which give you BCC after fork and have BCC/BTC or BCC/USD is the fastest way if you can trust the exchange Roll Eyes
Otherwise, send your BCC from your wallet as soon as fork happened with higher tx fees and sell it quickly after the transaction is confirmed or sell it later when the price rise if you think BCC can survive like ETC.
I have BTC on Kraken which claims that it will offer free BCC. How likely is that both BTC+BCC=<$2900(Current BTC value)?
I just want to know if it's better to convert to USD before the fork.

no one knows what will happen so i agree better to keep your btc inside an exchange which supporting this split so you can grab your free bcc
and dumped it right away if you just want a free money but likewise if you trusting this chain better to hold and wait for big progress.

Even with high fees, it will take a few days to have 6 or more confirmations.

lol why people should sell their bitcoins... crazy guys they sell best cryptocoin for a new one that will crash for sure.. NO SENSE

It is a great moove for whales... scared investors will panic for sure and price will crash a bit but after whale will buy again and price will go to da moon and BCC will crash.

Personally I will hold btc for life

True. Let's see how things will turn out. It's either we will change our btc to bcc or I will be still on the old chain. I'm watching the headlines about this and I'm accumalating lots of opinions regarding this matter. It's a one of a lifetime decision and the choice is still up to us. The clock is ticking and the history will unfold. As a holder I'm holding on tight and enjoying how things will turn out.

Hmm this looks like bait this bcc thing. The sharks (hackers) i bet are anticipating this moment when people are sending bcc to whatever address. Too risky i say to original btc balance.

Best to have btc already on exchange but exchanges are a risk themselves.

Too many risks so just get the popcorn out and dont get involved?

Im sure bcc will pump in november so might as well hold onto them.

I decided to sit this one and instead bought loads of cheap alts last week since it was like a firesale - 20-40% off. I don't hold any BTC atm. I'll wait on the sidelines. Good luck to everyone who will get BTC and BCC in 3 more hours  Smiley

Don't you guys see that they are blowing up Bitcoin right before the fork? It seems like everything is going to right way until now!

Sell as soon as you receive them. But if you are too late that the price is already equal to nothing, then hold them. Perhaps they will be gaining some momentum afterwards. The first few days will be expected to be dumping as a lot are considering it as useless and simple copy of the true coin which is BTC.
