I only have a little BTC on Bittrex, but it generated BCC and Bittrex has a live BTC-BCC market, so I sold it. Deposits and withdrawals of BTC and BCC are currently down, so only those that had BTC on Bittrex can sell their BCC. Who knows if it was a good call but what's done is done  Grin

Ditto. I only had .17 of a BTC held on there. But my 0.17 BCC was there in a wallet. So sold it when it was around $300. Free $50. Whoop!

Can't see it getting back to $300 again anytime soon (was amazed it went up to that sort of level initially TBH). Once the offline wallet coins can be deposited, I suspect it's gonna dump crazy hard.

Shame I had my BTC mostly stored offline really. Would have been quite a nice little freebie.

Do you think Bitcoin cash will provide any value? Would you sell or HODL?

Just wondering...
For me hold some bigwhale will play the price of bcc before it dump so expect some price up for bcc and know when to exit or get out.

If I did get some Bitcoin cash I would probably just hold it but I don’t think I would go out of my way to get some well not at the moment anyway
I guess I am just going to have to see how this all pans out

why would you want to hold it?

even if you would have any faith in bcc it would be wise to sell it asap before it is hardly dumped during today and tomorrow and then after market would settle you could buy much more bcc for the money you got today selling it asap (but only if you really have any faith for it)

The price was 200 USD just 24 hours ago, and now it´s around 400 USD. The maximum was 440 USD some hours ago...amazing.

Bittrex shows a 24h high of $547 on my tracker!!!

I was amazed to see that when I got up this morning. I thought I 'd done OK offloading my small amount (0.17 held on exchange at split time) on there at $300.

Still got some offline. Can you deposit to Bittrex with it yet? Can't see a price this high holding for any length of time. The support just doesn't seem to justify it?!?!?

Over $1k now.

Utterly insane.

Does it have any hashrate yet? Haven't got as far as that thread. A lot to keep up with today!  Grin

(On the plus side ..... at least it doesn't seem to be negatively impacting the BTC price. That would be MUCH more of a concern ...)

My theory is the folk pushing bcash will cash out first. The drop will be epic pump and
dump from the inside. I'm not even going to bother to try and cash out on this cluster,
The logjam on sells wil drive it down to 12c within the day. Why bother.

Well obviously, I did not know wtf I was talking about Smiley

Now I'm conflicted...my main notion is to hold it in case everything goes pear shaped with the 2mb hard fork being
blocked by bitcoin core or other silly stuff.

thus a fork did happen I'd keep the worth of my 100 btc in say a 60/40 split on 2 forks...IF miners got disgusted with

the 2mb fork not happening in a couple months

like insurance ..ie just keep it

than again see my quoted post...I obviously don't know wtf I'm talking about Sad
