Sorry but i had enought, this electrum sh1*** wallet is a complete trash.....
At first i used installer from official site for Windows - wallet crashes after launch.
After a lot and a lot of pain with other wallets i finally been able to launch portable electrum 2.9.0 wallet.
I created a 2fa wallet with TrustedCoin auth in it, and sent a lot of bitcoins to it. Now!!!! I cannot use my coins since electrum asks me for a fkn**** (sorry) 2fa code !!!! Where do i get IT ?!?!?!? There were no window to register that code with my phone!!!
So you never got a window like this during the setup:
If you didn't see this window... were you offline when you generated your wallet? You need to be online so the wallet can connect to TrustedCoin to setup the account and generate the Google Authenticator code...
I cannot get private keys !!! After doing Wallet - Private keys - Export and entering 10000% correct password nothing happens.
I know a seed, i wrote it on paper 3 days ago and reentered it during wallet creation. BUT NOW I CANT RECOVER WALLET USING IT !!!!!
Sorry but a fkng**** sh*** this wallet ?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? completly useless.... sorry , a lot of coins there. I tried recovering wallet and selecting both - a simple wallet and 2fa wallet, after entering seed "Next" button still inactive. I enlarged seed with my 3 words. Tried entering both variants of seed.......
This is all just angry ranting and a bit confusing...
Are you saying that you checked the "extend seed with custom words" option? If so, you DON'T type those extra words into the seed window... you just enter the 12 word seed and click next... Electrum will then prompt you for the extra words:
If you have only entered 12 words, and the "next" button is still greyed out, then you have entered at least one of the 12 words incorrectly. Double check the spelling of your words. There are some words that are, unfortunately, quite similar... and it is easy to either write it down wrong, or type it in wrong... words like kid, kit, kite, kind etc... they all only need 1 letter missing or incorrect and your seed is wrong.
