Voorhees Decision Will Not Affect Shapeshift.io Support for Bitcoin Cash

Erik Voorhees, ShapeShift CEO, has announced that he plans to divest all his Bitcoin Cash tokens as soon as he gets hold of the new cryptocurrency during the scheduled Bitcoin platform split on Aug. 1.

Following Voorhees Tweet, some were quick to confirm whether the decision affects how his company will treat Bitcoin Cash, to which the company responded:

Oh well this is also the sentiments of most members here in the forum. Dumping this alt coin as soon as they get a hold of it. Although for Voorhees its more complicated as he is a CEO of a trading platform. Haven't seen them making any official statement about BCC (correct me if I'm wrong guys). So where is he going to dump his coins then? This is also a question being raised to them if you continue to read the article. I think he should be careful of any statements because it may reflect that this is the official statement of his company, which they said is not.
