Dramatic increase in hashrate [Crown][CRW]

In the last 24 hours Crown has seen a dramatic increase in hashrate from 20ph/s to over 500ph/s, nearly 10% of Bitcoins total hashrate.

Can someone help me understand the reason behind this, which pool or individual it is currently merge mining Crown?

It's quite Importent the miner(miners) keep upto date with current development of the project to avoid any potential forks.
