The web wallet is designed as an additional interface that allows users to send and receive ONION quickly.

The web wallet uses the same DeepOnion daemon as the wallet application, it also connects through the TOR network. The web wallet's frontend is run on the clearnet. This allows anyone with access to the internet to easily and quickly create new onion addresses, as well as to receive and transfer small amounts --- no matter if it's on a computer or smartphone. OnionWallet is designed to help foster user adoption through ease of use. We do not log any IP addresses. We have heavily tweaked the piWallet configuration.

Created an online wallet and registered for the airdrop. Much better than downloading the software wallet and messing up with the operating system and the registry (I am not saying that the software wallets are bad, but I had bad experiences with some of these wallets before).

How much min. to staking?

I do not think there is any minimum amount needed for staking unlike a masternode; even 1 onion can stake but it will take a longer time frame before you can receive a coin due to low weight of your coin.

I got a similar result also,i signed up today easily but can not log in; i initially would have loved to use this web wallet for my onion staking but i just cannot do that at the moment.

I have not found any web wallet where you can stake except POSWallet.com.  Correct if I am wrong.  For security reasons, software wallets are one of safer options because we control the private keys.

May not be an issue for most, but thought I'd drop this in here.  If you already have a wallet and have already received a drop then you should leave your coins in the original wallet; meaning don't move them from your desktop wallet to the web.  If you move more than 10% of your coins out of your wallet you'll get removed from the sig campaign.  This is to prevent people from just dumping coins every week on the exchange.

piWallet is a very secure software, what happened is an administrator had a very weak password and did not have 2Factor Authentication enabled which led to someone logging in to an admin account and spending all the coins. Thank you for your concern, and please secure piWallet properly next time.

It is better to keep the coins on you computer that way they can stake sad to hear the wallet will not sync in china though we need to work around for this....
