They will find block because bitmain wants to find it. Consequently difficulty comes down and more miners migrating to Bitcoin cash nodes for mining.

As far as I know (and please someone correct me if im wrong) there is no timeline threshold or some sort of limit that says "if >1MB block is not found in X time, then cancel the whole thing".

So I guess it's going to be on some sort of "stand by" until >1MB block is found. In any case, this does not look good for the hardforker camp, it's basically the definition of Dead on Arrival. The more time that goes by without no activity, the harder to gain any traction.

They almost certainly will.  ViaBTC is dedicating a large amount of their hashrate towards it.

More importantly though, the difficulty of BCH decreases by 20% if no blocks have been mined for it in 12 hours, as shown on their ANN thread, so that the chain is not very badly affected by dramatic changes in hashrate.

This is a very frequently repeated lie.  BITMAIN are not directing their hashrate towards BCH.

That's my point, how long are they willing to hardfork this "untill" it's there. They can't go on forevr with it.
Correct me if i'm wrong with this but the coins they mine now will be useless right?
