Definitely not surprised that that it as ViaBTC that mined the first block, if the other miners boycott the currency am sure its going to collapse in no time meanwhile bitcoin is soaring again. Why would anyone stick with this alt coin when bitcoin is making all the money.

Congratulations on this milestone achieved for those who are waiting upon it but this is really not the achivenement to be happy about but rather the sustainability and the struggle ahead considering the several major exchange sites that have disowned the coin even before its birth. The coming days will be  trying to convince users to start accepting BCC.

I have seen many exchanges like Yobit and a few others had this Bitcoin Cash listed a few hours ago and now I see that in Yobit it doesn't exist anymore. I logged in now in Poloniex and I don't see this coin listed nowhere there. I believe many other exchanges except bittfinex will not list this coin and I think this coin will not last for long. Anyway congrats on the first block mined.

I was one of those parrots, but I don't know if I'll get the BCC on an exchange fast enough to dump before the price bottoms out. I may just buy after the dump and HODL.

The coin has support, and like all cryptos by design will appreciate in time if the project is managed well.

I can confirm that the chains have split. I transferred my BTC to a new address and the Bitcoin Cash address still shows unspent balance.

What this coin almost brought Bitcoin down on it's knees and look it's first foot forward - wrong foot!  Good riddance to rubbish  I must and hey congrats to all the core Bitcoin faithfuls. Let's again board the flight and continue the trip to the moon from where we stopped.

BCH is now listed in the Bittrex account balances, it's amount matches the BTC that I have. No access to the individual wallet yet.

Amazing congestions are happening. Still, there is a division. But, apparently from BCC it is necessary to get rid of, because it is not durable.

Well the price of Bitcoin cash futures was $600 about a week ago. Currently BTC is just about $250 and besides those who had money on exchange, nobody can even start to dump it. So real dumping will start tomorrow and price will go to under $100. You just wait and hold.

Sell it for BTC, you will certainly not regret it.
You might want to wait a couple of days to see how it goes, but it's not something you'd wanna hold long-term.

...and what a fizzle it was!  (in my humble opinion).  I didn't get any, so it doesn't matter to me. 
It does seem as though BCC or BCH, whatever you call it, is DOA.  What's the price even at?  I don't
even know how to check the damn thing.  Sure was an exhilarating runup.  Maybe we can do it
again for the next hard forking.  We'll throw a booze laced fork party!!

It's currently going for ~250-300 on several exchanges.
Honestly the only exciting thing about it for the overwhelming majority of Bitcoin users is the free airdrop.
I've personally already dumped them for BTC and so has/will most.
