That Alt Coin was doomed to fail from the start, Even Bitmain who brought up the concept of the split didn't even eventually support it at all. It was unfortunate that I wasn't able to get some and cash it out to bitcoins.

When it reaches a stable point, it will be profitable to buy it and hold it long term.

Who cares, the consensus of most of the members here is that it will fail. Most are just cashing it out because its free. Maybe its profitable to hold, just like ETH/ETC.

LOL. Bitmain thought that it will not survived at the long run that is why they decided not to support it.

When it reaches a stable point, it will be profitable to buy it and hold it long term.

Maybe yes, maybe no. Of course because of the greediness of some people, they may hold it for long term and see how it goes.

Even I think bitcoin cash is not worth to holding, it's better to sell it now before its price falls hard.
I'm not sure the price of bitcoin cash will increase.

Hold for long term, I agree may be 10 years later that is long term. WHile bitcoin can be 10.000 USD ten years later. I think I will hold bitcoin better than fake bitcoin.

The facts are these: 14,000 traded their BCC so far. There are about 20,000,000 BCC in the world. I don't see the whales, nor anyone else, dumping BCC at all. Where are the 19,986,000 BTC holders not yet selling any penny of BCC? Will it crash or go to $10,000? Maybe it will crash. But so far, only 14,000 coins have spoken, and BCC is available on 30 pairs now across 10 or more exchanges.

They aren't selling because deposits are frozen and the truly smart people kept ownership of their private keys.

afterwards they will really cash it out and take the free cash as most of us really doesn't care about this project but free money is not bad at all.

I haven't checked any of the exchanges yet, is it trading on all of them?
This was an interesting experiment that I didn't gain anything from; I traded
all my bitcoin for Dash a few days ago.  Ooops.  But this thing was doomed
from the start, from what I've seen.  There seems to be so little support for
it, just ridicule.

Not surprising at all if it crashed.  I'm not on a computer where I can check
the price.  Where's BCC/BCH at?

I'm of the same opinion. Bitcoin cash might stay in the market for some time but it doesn't have any speciality for it to survive for long eventually it has to be dumped. Bitcoin cash doesn't have a good team of dev and nor does it have a good number of supporters. So I agree bitcoin cash is soon going to prove as bitcoin crash.

Grin Grin Grin

Everyone is just claiming their BCH and trading into BTC lol  Grin

According to this tweet: https://twitter.com/ElectrumWallet/status/892433256385261568

"It seems a BCC Electrum server that returns a peer list poisoned with BTC servers can cause Electron Cash clients to switch to the BTC chain"
10:14 AM - 1 Aug 2017
From the Electrum wallet company.

It seems that there was a error with the transition which didn't recognize the bcc coins and had the equivalent of them shown as btc on the blockchain.
Doesn't that mean they received btc instead of bcc?
If so then double win for those that this happened too! Grin

Well, since they have the opportunity to claim BCH for free, why not claim it and then convert it to Bitcoin to gather more profit, right? We already concluded that BitcoinCash will be a failure before it even exist. Bitcoin will always have the majority of support in the cryprocurrency world and BCH will stay as a shitcoin.

The term fake bitcoin is very confusing now since the BIP is activated. The bitcoin that we know is not really the original bitcoin that is dreamt by Satoshi Nakamoto because he don't want a SegWit (as stated in other posts) but the BCC is based on what Satoshi is dreaming of so we can say it is not the fake, but it is forked out of bitcoin whoch seems not the usual one.
From this, I will be asking you, which fake bitcoin are you talking about?

It comes from the damaged price and reputation of Bitcoin and the dilution of it's brand.

I used to think that it was just bankers that were cunts but it seems that the cryptosphere is getting polluted with them too.

I dunno, it looks like it's going for quite the run right now, on bittrex alone it has 1000-2000BTC total buy and sell orders (price already at .15).

I thought if you sell BCC then you will also lose the same amount of Bitcoin. This whole thing is confusing to me. :s

Good point, thats why I think competetion is the best way to find technical solution to the scalling problem. Having both version of Bitcoins is the best way how one really finds a way how to scale to the point everybody could use it as Satoshi planned.
