Claiming BCH on Trezor and Ledger Nano S

So I have some bitcoin on my trezor and some bitcoin on my ledger nano S. I was wondering if anyone could point me to a tutorial or has some idea on how I claim my BCH. I am aware that there is some technical difficulty with the trezor so I can't claim it right now?

And also by claiming BCH does that mean I lose my BTC or will I have both? I am in my ledger wallet right now for the BCH but there is a 0 Balance what do I have to do to claim the coins? Also if the price goes up for BCH and I claim them later on does that mean I will get less coin or is it a fixed rate for what it was at the split on Aug 1st?
